Had a great game @ TAMU. Would like to see him complement the new offense.

He will play plenty. He doesn't get enough love though. Young man has been patient and produces in some way whenever he is in the game. All the respect in the world for him.

It's amazing to me how obscure he is given who is he is.

Probably gets the first game start, like Brossette did. And then see if he can hold onto it.
If CEH was the definitive returning starter, he'd have it, but he isn't.

Most suspicions are that Emery takes the job by midseason.

If true, leads to an interesting question: without his brother, would LSU have ever shown any interest in him?

kind of moot, but that's been going on as long as there have been athletic scholarships to give

I thought he played a step faster than CEH in his limited playing time last season.
Though, it could very well be that he was just coming in with fresh legs.

i personally think that he's better than brossette was. but, that's just from watching them on the field last year.

CEH is the starter rt now by a long shot. Depending on how quick the freshman catch on will determine how long Clyde holds the job down

I know, just legit curious. We're talking about him starting potentially for a top 10 team this year.

if that's the case, he must have some legit talent, and apparently works his arse off to stay in the "running," good for him, I hope he has a season that shocks and awes everybody

probably a fourth round pick . Very desirable player since he will still have a lot of tread on his tires with only about 100 carries in his college career.

Unless he does something spectacular this season, Fournette will be an UDFA.

I think has has a shot at being the third down back. As a senior he should have an advantage with pass protection, and he has proven he can catch out of the backfield.

Unless someone gets hurt he’s RB4 or RB5 on the depth chart

They are all talented. He will be subbed in quite a bit especially if the new offensive scheme involves the RB's more in the passing game. He may be RB4 or 5 but all of them will play plenty.

He gets TOO MUCH love. Every week I read a thread on the guy. There is a common misconception that he's a stud receiver out of the backfield. But if every LSU receiver dropped the ball at the rate Lanard did last year we would be dead last in the entire NCAA - every division - in drops.

We know he's a below average LSU running back, so what's all the love about. I'm glad he's a Tiger, and I'll buy him a drink if ever I meet him, but if we have to rely on guys of his ability at every position we will not compete well with Ole Miss and Vandy.
