Lanard should thrive in the new offense.

Probably gets the first game start, like Brossette did. And then see if he can hold onto it.
Holy shite, I'm getting downvoted to hell!

Geez, all I'm saying is that the Sr RB will get an early look, especially since nobody expects him to take the starting roll. He might start the Georgia Southern game (first series), and then we don't see him again until the Vandy game

I think CEH gets the important carries early in the season, and we'll see if Emery (or Curry, etc) start getting those by the Texas game, Fla game, etc.

He will play plenty. He doesn't get enough love though. Young man has been patient and produces in some way whenever he is in the game. All the respect in the world for him.

He's someone who I thought would probably almost never get a snap, but has really surprised me with his burst of speed when he plays. He may not play a lot due to the incoming talent we have coming in, but I think if he would have gotten a few more touches against aTm, we would have won in regulation because he looked a step faster than their D. He had our longest rush by far (46 yards), but only got two carries. Head scratcher.

I hope they use him more in the passing game.

Hell I’ve been saying that about LF(2)7 since his freshman season and time with the Jags. Hopefully Foles can finally help show what a talented receiver he is.

Tap the brakes on Lanard. I’m sure he’s a great kid and a hard worker but c’mon. OP actually said he had a GREAT game against A & M! Emery and Davis will make him a special team guy. Absolutely nothing wrong with that and I’m sure he will ball out.

This gets said about every RB we have.

Someone isn't going to play plenty. We have CEH, Lanard, Curry, Davis and Emery and everyone says they're going to get playing time. There aren't enough carries.

He did considering how few touches he had. He had the longest carry by far for either team in a 7 OT game with his 46-yard carry (the next longest was by aTm's RB who had a 24-yarder). For the game he had 4 touches for 76 yards (2 rushes and 2 catches).
