Where Do We Land If We Leave The SEC?

I have a really bad feeling about this. I do not believe the SEC would announce a move on whether to expel LSU if they did not already have the votes lined up. I do not like it but am afraid the LSU/SEC marriage has ended. If so then where do we land.
Let's be honest; the Big 10 will not want LSU. Our academics do not meet their standards.
I think the Big 12 would accept us with open arms but it is not where I want to be.
My first choice would be the ACC if they would have us. They are primarily southern teams and road trips to their campuses would be a lot of fun. Hell, even a trip to play Boston College would be fun. If the ACC offered us membership then I would be more than happy to tell the SEC to kiss my butt.

ACC sucks arse. Big ten could possibly let us in who knows. Or sign a deal with Amazon or Netflix or some shite and go independent

I think the ACC would be hard-pressed not to admit LSU into the ACC. The ACC would be better for LSU basketball. Not sure about baseball.

Notre Dame survives as an independent I think we can too. Play who we make deals with may actually be more profitable

ACC with Miami, FSU, Clemson, Louisville, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, and work out a tv deal beneficial for Notre Dame to finally join. That would be a good starting place for competitive revenue.

They are only Independent in football so LSU would still have to find a conference for other sports. Even in football they still have an agreement with the ACC to assist in scheduling.
