aggressive downfield throwing Jayden Daniels.

The play calling IS there but in the last few games, he doesn't want to pull the trigger and release the ball. He clearly has the ability to throw the ball downfield. he just refused to do it on saturday when he had chances.

I have no idea why that guy decided to regress to his old ways. He had plenty of time last weekend. He was obviously way more productive and successful when he wasn't pulling that shite.

The one in the first gif is what he is. That's a long time to hold.

The offensive line played so well in the last game that it was just inexcusable the way he played.

2 ints on the year really tells you everything you need to know

he started to push the ball during the tennessee game somewhat, and then REALLY started pushing it during the florida, alabama, and ole miss games. arkansas, he went back to his old ways. and then we saw what happened saturday.

He’s been seeing zone coverage versus man coverage, right?

The weird thing is if you go back to when he transferred in this offseason the question surrounding him was "all he does is throw go routes, he hasn't shown the ability to make throws underneath."

Oh sure. CBK has the secret sauce, but just decided to take the loss against A&M because he didn't want to be bothered?

That JD has been missing since Bama. We need him back.

I need to see the pass chart from saturday but i'd be shocked if he threw the ball more than 20 yards more than 2 times.

Held the ball WAY TOO long on the first gif. Way.Too.Long.

That is who he is. He is unable to process the information in a timely manner. Just cannot do it.

We have to realize that games like Florida are the outliers. He is more likely to have a game like FSU, Aurburn, Arkansas, A&M, than he is like Florida/Ole Miss.

I agree but he was at least throwing the ball downfield

Don’t think he’s comfortable in the cold. Dude was wearing long sleeves and a ski mask. It was like 52 degrees. Hopefully we see him cut up indoors this weekend. Just hope the ankle is ok.

he did it against UF, Ole miss, and then alabama. consistently pushing the ball down field and challenging the DB's.

all of that went out the window against arkansas and a&m

JD5 just isn't a confident downfield passer. We run quick come back routes, slants, and passes to the flats.

But as you can see in the first GIF, he is way too indecisive when throwing downfield.

He is a great runner, below average passer.

Even then Boutte had to be open by 10 yards.

All of the other throws were receivers who already had a step and there was no one else to help. Low risk.
