They'll have th best player on the field in Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald has the talent to test our secondary. But does he have the WRs? I don't think he does. Then again, our secondary is pretty young right now. Mistakes will be made. Farrod Green could be a mismatch for them at 6'3".

All of that said ... Simmons is MSU's best player. Not Fitzgerald.

maybe i'm looking through p&g glasses, but i'm really not worried about this.

i'm more worried about our offense.

Fitz is the best QB in the SEC, not sure why people are laughing.

But he's not the best player in the SEC. Huge difference.

State is a good football team. I'm not sure why so many lsu fans are insistent on thinking we will roll over on them. Then again...this is the rant

I think you will be in for a rude awaking on Saturday when the game is very close. I hope the tigers win but unless our O line steps up, we are in for a long day

I've watched at least 3 full games of Fitzgerald. I'd take Eason, South Carolina's QB, Auburns, and Tennessee over him just as QB.

Dude is a overachieving Very poor mans Tebow. I'm more of a NFL future QB type of guy in terms of getting impressed by guys.

I will bet money that we whoop his arse.

He saw this defense last year and we ate his lunch.

He got pulled after halftime. He sucked!!!

You can't be serious with this shite? I'd take Brandon Harris back over that walking calamity they call a QB at Auburn.

Really? The last time we lost there was 1999 and our average margin of victory in our last 8 wins there is 25.5 points.

I think Saturdays game will be close and I'm worried about it, but come on.

Fitzgerald is a joke and Aranda and LSU's defense will prove that in convincing fashion on Saturday.

if you can hang in there and take those few punches they land, you'll be good. Mullen calls great games from the start but I feel like its easy to bottle them up once he gets off script

I think this is dead on. I think State could get off to a hot start, maybe put up 10-14 in the 1st half. But I don't see much after that. If we can actually score TDs when we get in the redzone, we win easily.

against sec opponents last year he had 12tds-6ints 54% completion 114.6 qb rating.

you have to excuse people not thinking he will be the best player on the field when he is on the field against lsu's defense.

surely he has gotten better but he has to prove it against sec defenses just like Etling has too.
