There's a difference. It's one thing knowing someone is a good player and appreciating their talent and appreciating what they did for LSU.
It's another thing to not be able to separate sports from humanity.
If I saw someone abusing an animal I would beat them to within an inch of their life. So no, I would not support Joe Burrow if he abused animals and tortured them and then buried them in his backyard. Why? Because I'm not a piece of shite and sometimes things are more important than how many points someone scored for your favorite college.

There’s a difference between abusing an animal and a human. That’s why each crime carries a different penalty under law.
However, in my initial statement, I said I didn’t care “that much” about animal abuse. I didn’t say I wanted a QB with a dog fighting ring.
I made a hyperbolic statement about Joe Burrow running a dog fighting ring to make a point: whatever perceived wrongs Angel Reese has done to anyone on this board doesn’t justify the hate she receives.
She says stuff online. She doesn’t abuse children or drown kittens.

I understand that there are levels to everything. Parts of my argument are exaggerated to make the above point. I don’t support the abuse of animals. But if you asked me if I’d rather see a woman or dog get beaten - I mean cmon.

I would not support any player from any University including LSU that walked off the floor for the National Anthem and US Flag.
If you don't Like America feel free to move to France anytime you want.
Freedom isn't free and those who forget that can pick up a weapon and stand on the wall. Or feel free to move somewhere where they don't support freedom and see what you didn't support up close.
Move to Iran or Russia or China, North Korea, etc,etc,etc. I am sure they will take people who hate freedom and America.
I am curious to see if Angel Reese lost a Brother ,Sister
,Father, Uncle, etc. fighting and serving their country and some Hater started telling her that her family died for nothing and they were stupid and they walked off the floor for their WNBA game.
If she agreed with that then it would be twisted but her right because she has the right.
I choose the other way and Honor my family that has been lost in war and respect the flag and country they died for .
I would ask Angel Reese to watch a movie called " Taking Chance" .
If she can get through that movie and feel the same then she has no respect for the freedom they died for and her to have the right to walk off the court but not the respect of the families of people who have had family pay the ultimate sacrifice.
Is it legal for her to do it. Yes.
Do i support her doing it Hell no.

I think it's funny that you care so little about her and the WNBA, that you were sitting there waiting for the fifth game to end so you could run to the board and post that.
But rest assured, my fandom for one of the greatest athletes to ever play basketball for LSU has not waned one bit. But, certainly Golden State has changed up the defense to primarily limit her impact on the Dream's offense (she's still getting double digit rebounds). Now, it's time for the coaching staff to make the adjustments, just as Golden State had to make THEIR adjustments in game four.
