Some time prior to August 8, 2019. August 8, 2019 is the day I placed a bet at the Hard Rock on LSU to win the 2019 National Championship. So while I was sure some time before that, that is the day that I can provide documented evidence of my omnipotence.

When Jefferson recovered the onside kick in Tuscaloosa. That was the hurdle we had to jump.

Cautiously optimistic after Texas game. Hook that purple Koolaid directly into my veins at halftime of Bama. If we could look that dominate over them no one was stopping us this year.

When we took a 20 point lead on Bama.

I knew they wouldn’t catch up, and I knew no one else could.
I thought maybe Ohio State could give us trouble, until I watched them against Penn State.

After the Alabama game. When we beat them, I knew we had the talent (players), scheme (coaches) and leader (Coach O) to keep it all together for even the biggest game on the biggest stage.

I really didn't care if we were ranked #2, would have loved to beat Ohio State and Clemson.

After the 1st quarter against OU, this team was special, OU was a good team, we were just that much better than the field this year, and it proved itself!!

After the OU curbstomping. I was nervous going into every game this season up until the championship. I was stress free and never worried that the Tigers were going to bring it home.

After that CEH run that put it away against Bama.

100%? When we recovered Trevor Lawrence's fumble in the 4th quarter.

When we beat Bama, I knew. They gave us their best shot in the 2nd half, but LSU made plays (mostly CEH and Joe) to make sure they couldn't catch up.

I was supremely confident going into every game the rest of the way, including the two playoff games.

I'm just upset that we didn't score more against Clemson.

When I watched Clemson beat osu and saw they didn’t have the horses in the secondary to run with our guys. Not even close.

This. I watched the game and Clemson wasn't within 14 points of OSU during the game and somehow they won. I said LSU would win by 2 TDs plus

Edit: I said it would be 48-31 to my friends the night of the game

I am riding wit Boosie on this one the first fricking kickoff. I told my son after the spring game that LSU was going to win the 2019 Championship and that Joe fricking Burrow was going to win the Heisman Trophy. He laughed but let’s just say he ate his CROW

When Tua made contact with thin air and fumbled, LSU recovered, and Burrow drove us right down the field to go up 7–0

Agree TAMU game.

Defense took a while to settle in this season. Once they started clicking I knew no one had a shot.

You knew the whole year offense could score 40 on anyone with good field/weather conditions. As soon as defense looked like it could actually get stops when needed... that was it.

Alabama game. After we man handled them, I was confident we would win it all. Didn’t even sweat when we went down 17-7 versus Clempson
