I like this thread. I believe LSU may have the best defense in the country this year. they have the beef up front and the speed on the edges. they have a thumper in the middle and phenoms in the d backfield. they also have perhaps the all purpose yardage leader in the NCAA (lead the SEC in rushing as a backup) and Heisman contender. once again, the enigma is in the passing game.
Most of the pieces of the puzzle are in place on this team, except for OL.
Have to go in a different direction there for 2018! (New OL Coach) I think the wheels have already been put in motion for that to happen.

Who expected going 12-0 (before BCS game) in 2011 with Jordan Jefferson (I said his name) and Jarrett Lee with who as our Offensive Coordinator?

you constantly shite on our oline and no one that gets paid to evaluate oline play or football agrees with you. every single year we have one of the best olines in cfb.
you said our oline sucked last year and we had the most olinemen to make an all sec team and a Remington award finalist. we were also 2nd in the country in yards before contact.

Of course anything is possible but that 2011 LSU defense was basically a once in a lifetime defense. Didn't almost every starter get drafted or something like that?
