When Lane hangs 40+ this season, no one will remember some mediocre TE & DL from OM

These guys are not even good enough to get drafted and I've never heard of them. We already have better players. Let the season start already.

All of the following can be true at the same time:
-We have a really talented team as is.
-Dae'Quan Wright would allow the offense to use Trey'Dez in more unique ways, creating further mismatches.
-You can never have enough depth on the D-line.
-This fight goes further than X's and O's and is about fairness and transparency. It's time someone put a stop to the NCAA and SEC picking and choosing winners and losers.
-We have a really talented team as is.

Wrong. LSU is short on quality depth. Just because you aren't good enough to make it in the NFL doesn't mean you can't be a good quality depth piece in college.
If Lane thought they could help the team and wanted them then so should you.

That TE is very good. The DT was all SEC last year

The DL from Ole Miss was an All-SEC selection, they had a great season, went well into the playoffs.
He had 58 combined tackles, 9 for loss, 3 sacks and an INT, as a DT.

You know all of college football will say any success we have is due to the "2 former NFL players". It doesn't matter if they play or not. They can't help themselves.
