I’ve always been a fan, but was too young in the 90s to remember anything about them. I have watched every Omaha trip this century. I didn’t really follow closely until I think 2016 when I figured out you could watch every game with SECN+.

Late 80’s I remember when we couldn’t get World Series games on the radio

In college me and a buddy would be at the old box and wait at the ticket window for regional tickets. When a team loss their tickets would get released and we’d get some prime seating for next for nothing. We’d get lawn chairs and sit in line. Dont think regional games were on tv at the time. Only way to watch it was be there.

Big Ben's freshman year. Despite (or maybe because of) how that 1987 season ended, it lit a fire in me.

At USL baseball camp! Seriously, here's the story:
We were rained out one afternoon, and they had videos of the 1993 world series playing in the room where we waited out the storm. I've been hooked ever since!

The mid-late 90s when I was a little kid. Didn’t hurt that LSU was in the middle of their dynasty, and like several LSU players have said the past few seasons, you grow up in Louisiana dreaming to play for LSU and go to Omaha (obviously was never close to being good enough to play there
).
I even went to the LSU-Tulane games in the dome in 2002 and 2004. I remember my excitement when LSU won it all in 2009 right before I became a student there. 2013 hurt really bad because of all the talent and their record. Obviously, 2017 didn’t end on the high note we all wanted, but was fun to watch.
Glad Jay got the team back to prominence. It’s already been a great 4 years. Hope he gets at least one more natty before he’s done.

Started in 91, but it was just a small flame.
The first time I’d ever heard of the CWS and LSU was playing in it. Watched the championship game and they won it.
I watched most CWS that LSU was in, in those years but absolutely didn’t keep up with the team until they were in Omaha.
‘08 and the 23 game win streak, then the Irvine Super opened something up in me. I made a point to try and follow every game in some way from then on.

Dad took us to some games in skips early seasons.
Literally you could run around under the grandstand.
Went to one of skips first baseball camps.
Listened to every pitch of 1989 regional on radio before tv.
Attended regional in 1990 and those usc games were classics.

When you hear those pre-Skip stories about 300 people in the stands?…..I was one of those 300.

20 years ago when I moved to BTR.

The first game I ever remember watching was the 1996 championship game. I was 9. Some guy named Warren Morris hit a game winning homer to beat Miami. It was a good starting point... I know that I had been to games prior to that but I don't remember them. I guess you could say I was hooked. I've been to the vast majority of home games for the last 20 years. I've attended 200 total games in 4 seasons under Jay including 60 this year.

1987, My senior year in High School, largely because of the buzz around Ben McDonald.

I started going in 1975. I doubt there was ever more than 100 peeps in the stands. I amassed a huge collection of foul balls.
