he lost me before he was hired. he has done nothing in his entire coaching career to suggest he is qualified to run Vandy's defense let alone be a HC at a top 15 all time program.
for 29 of his 32 year career no ad thought enough of his coaching to offer him a coordinator's job offer, let alone a head coaching position.
only Alleva could herp derps his way into hiring the most unqualified hire in Big 6 history.
LSU should be above hiring career position coaches and that's what O is.

O lost me when he said he will bring in the top assistants. Then went the lazy route and promoted Ensminger. Actually LSU lost me when the jackass AD took the lazy route, when having almost an entire season to hand pick a winning head coach, settled on O. I’m pretty Sure on both hires, there was NO job search.
I mean everyone heard O say it, I will bring in the best assistance in the country. How many teams were knocking on Ensminger’s door?? I hope O can win at LSU, but I’m not expecting him to.

I was/am an "anyone but O" guy short of winning out in '16 and getting to the SECCG. The guy was never qualified to be the HC of LSU. There is not ONE other P5 school that was going to hire Orgeron to be their HC over the past couple of years. We got duped by Asleepa after game 4 of the regular season in '16 that we were going to hire the best coach available. O will be run by the end of this season(if we go 6-6 or worse) or after year 3 with a couple of back-to-back 7-5/8-4 seasons.

In one sense He never had me. I thought it was a terrible hire from the get go. However, he is LSU’s coach, so I’m rooting for him even though I’m not very hopeful.

Lost me after the UF game when he was interim coach. For all that was on the line and go out there eventhough I know it was the players that made the mistakes, but still looked like an uninspired effort which falls back on the coach and that was the turning point for me.

How about the day he pouted and quit on the USC team he supposedly loved when he didn’t get the HC job that no one in the world thought he would get.
Or the day he publicly begged for the Syracuse HC job and they never even called him.
Or the day his team got shutout by Alabama, something that hadn’t happened since The Rematch.
Or the day that his team got into a fight with Florida coaches in pregame warmups and then let his injured RB dress out because he was mad about it after declaring him out for the game then letting an injured Florida team embarrass his team on their home field to choke away a Sugar Bowl bid.
Or the day his team got fricking arse raped by Mississippi State or lost to a Sun Belt team.
I could add more to the list, and I assume I will once next season rolls around.

I was fine till the end of the regular season. But the way they came out against ND after a month's time to prepare told me this team is not going to improve much in the long run...
I know it may sound ominous but I feel MB will have a disastrous first game against Miami and will be scarred forever.
