When did I die and LSU were the yankees

Only pros should be under the scrutiny of tremendous expectations... and the highest demand of consistency ..

Saban has had many season with 2 losses ... LSU's championship teams had two losses.. and yall want to talk ... unacceptable to go 9-3???

By this measure, Sean Payton should have been fired years ago ... oh wait, but he's the best ...

YEAH NOW ...

Get better Tiger Nation .... be a fan and support
.... and be fair in criticism, don't call for jobs because YOU think X is unacceptable ..

Know what, tiger nations' attitude is unacceptable..

It's yall that should be fired

Everyone wants be like Bama but no one is. Fans now expect 10 win seasons every year or it's a disaster and we play in the toughest conference. Most of the 10 win teams in other conferences can't beat Bama either.

I'm not even mad about the Bama loss.

At this point, I'm willing to settle for scoring on them and watching an offense that looks like it belongs in this century.

Surely rhetorical, but RPOs are :-)

Understand both sides. I want a competent offense something that we can count on to win us a ball game every once in awhile. Right now we are basically Oklahoma with the great defense and terrible offense and we have been that for years now. We have our games we look ok but a truly competent offense will pass the ball in regulation needing a first down to end the game or will pass the ball on 1st and goal when a Td will end the game instead of settling for a fg. Basically we couldn’t on the defense to hold a team under 21 to win where Oklahoma counts on scoring at least 40 to have a chance to win. I’m not looking to go air raid or anything but count on your offense to win a game every now and then. To me that’s not too much to ask for. Now 9-3 coming into the season every one of these idiots would of taken that no doubt many are just acting stupid 9-3 10-2 can be expected with an 11-1 or 12-0 every once in awhile and then a 8-4 every once in awhile and even in the sec 7-5 can happen from time to time. People forget that many were wondering if we would make a bowl game this year with all the new players.

. LSU fired a coach who averaged 10 wins a year only to replace him with a guy who has never won 10 games before and has yet to win 10 games in a season.

Yup.
And the guy we hired said it wasn't a rebuild. He said we'd be in the playoffs. He said we're gonna hire the best coordinators and he's gonna leave em alone.

And now we're supposed just except 9-3 again?

Hell I like Orgeron. But if he doesn't hire a damn competent OC and let him run his offense, he's done. If none wanna work for him, well then the writing is on the wall.

It's unacceptable to realize this is one of the worst LSU offenses in the past decase? It's unacceptable for people to want an offense thats at least in the top 50?

He also said afterthe Missouri game in '16 that they would "go pedal to the metal and go, go,go. I would've scored more points icnwe could. Where is that Coach now?"

Geaux Sox!

Yankess suck. And I'm still your daddy.

You on a roll tonight. There's a consistent theme in all you posts.

I'll summarize:
This isn't a bad season. And it's good enough and we should be happy and not expect more.

And I reject that in its entirety and it is ok to be happy about the season, it is not ok to expect LSU to be second tier, 3rd in our division, and concede any losses. Standing still gets you passed up. Good enough is never enough.

How much is Dereck paying y’all? This is the dumbest shite ever, and I’m tired of it! 9-3 is neither a reason to celebrate or anguish. It’s not what the goal should be and nobody should be happy with 9-3 seasons. The goal every year should be Sec championships and national championships. The goal should also be to see a level of play on the field that is consistent with that. Being conservative when we have a chance to win a game like last week is a prime example. Play calling all year is a prime example. Our defense not pressuring the QB last week and letting him sit back and complete 4th and 18’s are a prime example.
The coaches aren’t living up to their ends of what it takes to accomplish those goals .
