And I have given him credit for it, but the victory laps every time we sign someone and trying to taunt other posters is ridiculous. I call out those that are over the line bashing O and I will call out this nonsense as well.
Last season I gave O and Ensminger credit for shutting down a final push by Jimbo and Craig to get Marshall and I also criticized the Foster, Surtain, Goodrich whiff. It's called being objective. You should try it.

Okay, so I’ve been quoted here as saying I wasn’t a fan of Orgeron. I thought we settled and it was a bad hire. He’s a great recruiter and one of the best DL coaches in the country.
He’s lost some games here that are very questionable and pathetic. I question his ability to bring us championships.
So tell me where I’m wrong in my opinion and where I’m not a fan.

Congrats if you are being truthful. I myself have had season tickets for 20+ years. I just don't understand the hatred towards O. He is the lsu coach. He went 6-2 last year. Bottom line. There is much optimism with the direction. Listen, I didn't want him as coach either, but the over the top hating is ridiculous. It is like a little miserable cult here. Some people like an underdog story, and you guys sure fuel that.
Maybe you are sincere that you have changed...but it is hard to buy. Just like lunatic...he trys to act like he changed, yet continues to support the #1 basher on this site...doesn't add up.

It will be a bad hire if he fails. People like you label it a bad hire regardless of success or failure. It could turn out to be a great hire. Time will tell. Just because you or I don't agree with something, doesn't make it bad automatically.
He list pathetic and embarrassing games last year early on the season. People like you don't want to hear reality, but the truth is we were missing a significant part of our front 7 early in the season, and didn't have the depth to overcome it. Hell, our top 10 draft pick never came close to his potential. I like the fact that group turned around and improved greatly as the season went on. Aranda is a great coach, but even he couldn't stop state and Troy from running all over our arse...just didn't have the personell at the time. But I know.. excuses right.

This might be the dumbest thing you've said since you joined up a week ago or whatever it was. It's possible to be skeptical and cautiously optimistic at the same time. It's possible to recognize the negatives as well as the positives. It's what most rational adults do.

dude saban lost to 2 terrible teams in his first year at LSU and Bama. Didn't read the whole thread but this definitely happens a lot among negatigers. They think they are being genuine and giving credit where credit is due but deep down they are crawfishing.
