Daniels will end being the second best QB in LSU history. I also just had 3 gin and tonics, but that's beside the point.

He's a stud. He just needs to stay healthy and trust his receivers and run the offense.

Saw this a number of times before 2019. Catastrophe syndrome.

Will it happen again, no way to know. Can it happen again, absolutly.

Are you acting like a cuck, yes.

This isn't his 2nd year starting. It's his 5th. He has 43 appearances in his college career.

Burrow had 38 total appearances over 5 years.

This is a must or we’re no better than last year. Last year was awesome, but if we want to be even better, then he has to be even better.

1) LSU fans aren't allowed to think their team is capable of winning it all? Did anyone think LSU was going to do what they did this time in 2019?

2) Jayden Daniels was WAY better in 2022 than a lot of LSU fans care to admit. Maybe Joe Burrow has skewed some folks' perception of what is normal for an LSU QB (or any team's QB), but there was a time a season like JD had in '22 would have had us champing at the bit to see what he did in his second season.

If they win the opening game they will quickly be in the top 5

They keep comparing him to Burrow which is not only stupid but disrespectful.

Oh the horror that I think Joe Burrow is better than JD. There isn’t a football fan on earth outside of this board who wouldn’t laugh in your face for suggesting this nonsense.

Who had the better season?

Burrow '18 or Daniels '22?

I just want to get an idea of what the rant thinks.

Ok I’ll take the bait. It’s a Draw. I’ve seen statistical comparisons that are similar.
Joe won a NY6 game and JD got us to Atl.
However, Joe left us in Phoenix thinking wholly shite. While Nuss lit up UGA and they both annihilated a JV Purdue squad.

One left us with a better teaser than the other

Put 2018 Burrow in the 2022 offense and we might lose 1 game.
Put 2022 Daniels in the antiquated 2018 offense and we don’t make a ny6 bowl. Comparing these 2 isn’t fair to Daniels. Will never be another Burrow here, but if Daniels can trust his arm and his receivers, he can do some real damage this season and maybe even sneak our way into the playoffs.

Doubt that.
