What’s your opinion on Aranda?

We have unreal talent and give up 400+ yards on dbu the best secondary we have had in a long time. Tua will eat us alive if we don’t get better. Just food for thought.

I think everyone needs to pump the breaks. The first week was not a good setup for this weeks game. The defense will improve and get better. People need to remember, we won a lot of games because of Aranda the last two seasons.

All the DBU talk is part of the problem I think. It just puts a target on your head. Right now they just need to focus on being “LSU.” DBU is just off-season fluff.

aranda is good but i'm not satisfied with his price tag. will definitely be looking for improvement

Bama had 5 Defensive players drafted last year and got shellacked by Clemson and lost. We won. shite happens. O knows they need to get better and said as much.
If he would have said post game the defense played fine I would be worried but he didn't. Let them do their job and fix it. They know way more about football than the whole Rant combined.

It seems like a key to our strategy was going to be contain ehlinger and make him beat us with his arm.

Y'all act like we didn't just go on the road to face a top ten team led by an "offensive mastermind" coach and blow their doors off. Not only that, he's also a coach who has performed extremely well in big games.

I like him and can’t think of anyone I’d hire over him but sometimes I feel like he’s too analytical/professorial, rather than just turning them loose. I appreciate the discipline and sound approach, but I’d like to see more aggression.

He hasn't fielded a defense yet that meets the talent we have and the price we pay him. I heard the reason was because our offense sucked. Now we have a qb with the 4th most passing yards and are averaging 50 pts a game and our defense is currently ranked 50th. The excuse seems to be it was hot and they didn't get enough rest bc our offense scored too fast.

My opinion is that the man has been excellent. Then he gave up 400 yards to what could be a QB who ends his season in New York. On the road. And still won.

I think he's one of the best coordinators in the country but not the God Head Coach in Waiting that everyone thought he was.
