We don’t play our best RB so maybe they do the same with LB.

This board asks about a different set of players every day! "What's up with blah, blah, blah?" Blah, blah, blah is not playing. That's what's up!

Learn the difference between “we’re” and “were” before you go on a rant about the switch to the
4-3.

Right?? One would think that the coaches are putting the best on the field

Based on what we are seeing at RB, I wouldn’t be so sure.

I mean I was just asking baw. Wasn't sure if anyone had heard/read something that I may have missed.

Lots of us were excited about them and that position group is struggling, so I'm sure I'm not the only one who is curious.

The thing that kinda pisses me off is they haven’t even gotten a chance in garbage time against Mcneese and cmu. Throw them out there maybe one is a gamer. Keeping Clark out there till the 4th quarter counts down up 28 points makes zero sense.

Another reason to try some guys Is the coaches ability to evaluate lb talent on campus has been pretty suspect.

Both need to gain weight/strength before seeing more PT. Webb is learning the traditional DE spot after playing more standup OLB in high school. Sampah is just stuck behind older guys and hasn’t done enough in practice to separate himself. These same conversations were had about Baskerville and Dre Anthony 2 years ago. Don’t give up on them yet.

Sampah and White have both been hurt. I saw him in a sling on the sidelines I believe in the McNeese game. His arm wasn't in a sling in the Central Michigan game. Nonetheless, I expect him and Josh White to both be in the rotation next season.

Probably means something

They were recruited for a different alignment. New LB coach isn’t married to them. They prob don’t fit what he wants to do, among other things

Sampah was kind of raw coming in, a little overrated coming in. Webb is a better fit for an OLB in a 3-4 defense. He's got his hand in the dirt in this 4-3 so it's understandable why he hasn't seen much playing time. Both guys played in the 4th Q against CMU

Baw you are asking the wrong person. Call Ed tomorrow night and ask him. I haven't noticed him dodging a question.
