Earthquake game.......Hodson to Fuller to win the game in 88'
A close second would be the Skyler Green catch against Georgia in 03'

I still compare all deafening events in TS to the Earthquake game, 1988, Hodson's pass to Fuller. It was so freaking loud!
This, and it's not that close. Most of these kids on here though have no idea about that it was well before their time. Tiger Stadium has changed over the years....it is still very loud...but not as much as it used to be. Commercialization no doubt...can't imagine what it would be like with old school stadium atmosphere and the current winning status of LSU.

Florida 2007, not sure of exact moment
This. Easily the most intense game I've ever been to. The stadium was loud the whole game, but this was definitely the loudest part.

For Me it would have to be LSU vs UGA in 2003. I was sitting in the East Upperdeck and it was insane. A very close second would have to be LSU vs UT 2000

I would say the Florida 2007 game when the USC-Stanford score was announced because the whole stadium was silent while he announced the score then erupted in pure mayhem followed closely by the blocked FG against Banana in 2008.

Auburn in 88, the earthquake game. We had not been able to do anything offensively the whole game and then we had that drive. The touchdown came on our 3rd fourth down conversion of the drive.

easy-Earthquake game, was sitting in the bleacher section of South Endzone, thought they were coming down

florida 97, the entire game

I wasn't there for the Earthquake Game. My pick is the 2007 Florida game when the USC score was announced. The crowd was starting to buzz a little as news spread from cell phones, and then when Borne announced it, the place just erupted.
The 2003 Georgia game (Mauck to Green) is second to that.
For me, one that's not at the top but is in the neighborhood is the blocked FG vs Bama in 2008(?). We lost in OT but almost pulled it off. That was a great moment.

Earthquake game 1988,hands down. Not mentioned too much is opening game 1986 season against A&M. Ags were ranked 8th and we had Hodson as freshman and Guidry as other quarterback. Guidry quick slant to Sammy Martin for about 60 yards for TD and Michael Brooks int for TD in 4th quarter. Crowd at that time that night was second largest crowd ever. What a night. Will never forget it.

Florida 07-when they announced USC lost to Stanford
This isthe correct answer. Longest sustained tidal wave of noise ive ever heard. Tv did not do it justice. It is hard to describe.

I don't understand how people can say the earthquake game. Tiger Stadium holds tens of thousands more people now than it did then. You can not convince me that some of these moments in the 2000's, like Georgia 03, Auburn 05/07, and Bama 08 were not "louder moments". Everyone in the stadium was on their feet yelling at the top of their lungs. Are you saying that the type of fan in the old days was just louder when they screamed? Makes no sense.

Not sure if it was the loudest but one moment than never gets mentioned is the 4th Quarter for Mississippi State in 2000.

This
I had some Florida fans sitting next to me and I asked them early in the game how loud it was compared to the swamp. They said its about the same because the swamp is set up to be as loud as possible. After they announced the USC loss they told me they couldn't believe how loud it was

Wasn't personally there for earthquake game, but I'm sure that has to be up there. The USC announcement during 07 Florida was pretty good, but nothing tops that Skylar Green catch in 03. Still my number 1 Tiger Stadium moment. That game is also the loudest I've ever heard the stadium after an opposing team's touchdown.

And I love how Borne paused for effect too. I vividly remember him saying "A final score of interest: USC 23, Stanford........ 24" The mayhem after was awesome.
Then the only thing that could have made it better was the band playing. Which they did. I will never forget that game.

This. It wasn't just the initial eruption but the fact that it was sustained for about 10 minutes, the players went crazy on the sideline. Probably the most memorable moment and game that I was ever in attendance for. I cannot describe how electric and loud TS was that night...you had to be there.

Earthquake game when Hodson completes the 4th down touchdown pass to Eddie Fuller
This is the only possible answer. Nothing else comes close, and yes I've been to some of the other candidates mentioned in this thread.
