The consensus is that the fans want go talk about AD shite when it comes to Tulane. Nobody wants to talk about the actual teams, or the games or the fan experience.

I don't give a shite about the finances. I would absolutely love to attend an LSU-Tulane game in Yulman Stadium, and would like to see the rivalry renewed annually.

frick regular season CFB games at the Superdome.

That's a dumb take. There's nothing to "gain" by playing football in the first place. It's about fan entertainment. If you don't think it would be entertaining watching LSU pound the shite out of Tulane most years, and have the underdog rise up and upset the Tigers on occasion, that's fine, just say it.

I would be entertained by it.

I know when Skip was AD, he was insistent that the games be played in Tiger Stadium. The Superdome games were 3/4 LSU fans but Tulane got 100% of the take.

This has been the problem. They do the same thing in baseball.

What does this have to do with YOU?

I don't think the question is what does LSU think about it.

Tulane can get in line behind the rest of the state schools for a chance to play the Tigers.

LSU wanted all games at Tiger stadium and no home/away agreement. Tulane would not agree to that. Who would? Although LSU always played Texas A&M in Tiger Stadium back then. Not sure why A&M agreed to that.

I don't think they have the jewels to play LSU on an annual basis with a realistic contract

"Don't give a shite about finances"? Then that shows you either how delusional or dumb you are. LSU will never give away a million dollar gate to play anyone. Add in the fact that the weenies have never sold out its allotment of tickets to a game in Tiger Stadium. And, no, it's not about entertainment. Not in today's financial world of collegiate sports. And never forget the way the weenies' athletic dept. has treated LSU fans over the years when it came to getting tickets for home games there & the cost of same. Their greed cost all fans the Winn Dixie Challenge in baseball. etc etc etc.
