Dugas 2B
Morgan LF
Crews CF
White 3B
Travinski C
Beloso DH
Jones 1B
Jobert RF
Thompson SS

Travinski needs to move up to 5th behind White to protect him in the lineup, and he needs to stay in the entire game at C if he starts in the 5th slot. We can’t have what we had Sunday where MSU intentionally walked both Crews and White to pitch to Milazzo.

..and for the Jobert haters, he’s 4th in BA in SEC play at .291 behind Travinski, Crews and White.

Dugas and Beloso are struggling at the plate in SEC play with .226 and .219 BAs respectively but they have .445 and .392 OB%s.

I don’t know if Jones can start right now. I get the average argument, but the dude is striking out almost 50% of the time.

It’s either Jones or Milazzo with Travinski at 1B.

I’d rather Jones, regardless of the Ks, if that’s my option.

Jobert has improved on his hitting this year for sure. He has been more consistent at the plate than he was last year. He just hasn't had the consistent playing time to get the HR numbers that he had last year.

Jones needs to become best friends with Tanks this summer and learn that you can still be a power hitter and have a two strike approach. Once he learns that he doesn't need to drive every pitch over the scoreboard, he will be a lot better off.

Jones, Pearson or Kling ???? That’s the question right now.
Who is hitting the best v a rightie? Versus a lefties?

This is exactly what I would go with except I would still bat Crews-White 2-3 with Morgan at 4.

I do think Travinski should bat up in the lineup but Jay believes in the left righty thing so they can’t match up pitching in a critical point in the game. If Travinski bats behind White that’s three right handers in a row. That’s why Beloso bats behind White.

Travinski at 1B is an issue. Dude can barely block balls behind the plate, much less picking balls at 1B. His bat is needed tho.

Now that Jones has hit a wall with his bat, it's time to bring Morgan back to first and platoon Pearson or Kling in left.

This would help out the defense tremendously. LSU is giving their opponents too many extra outs, which is disastrous for an already struggling pitching staff.

Dugas 2B
Morgan 1B
Crews CF
White 3B
Beloso DH
Travinski C
Jobert RF
Thompson SS
Pearson/Kling LF

I don't love the idea of batting Beloso behind White, but Jay isn't going to put three right-handed bats in a row.

Jobert cant catch a beach ball if his life depended on it. I'd put Kling in RF over Jobert.

Season PBs:
Travinski 2
Milazzo 1

SB attempts: 15-19 for Milazzo and 7-10 for Travinski

Milazzo isn’t so far ahead of Travinski behind the plate where he offsets Travinski’s bat.

I understand the not batting three righties in a row but we can’t continue to get Crews and White on base and Beloso hit into a DP you have to put Travinski in the 5 hole to protect and drive in runs

Those are the bats that have to be in the lineup. I like moving Trey down to the 4 spot and bumping Crews and Tanks up but thats just me

Jobert hasn't been nearly as bad offensively or defensively as some of the Rant want him to be.

Yeah, the Rant wants Kling to play so bad, they ignore his batting in SEC play.

There is a reason why Jobert starts over Kling, and it isn’t because Jobert is blackmailing Johnson with inappropriate photos.

Hell I want Kling to play, but you can't just insert him in the lineup in the post season and cross your fingers that the light comes on. He's going to be great, but he looks overmatched against SEC pitching.

Jobert's defense cost you an SEC game. A game that may send you on the road come super regional time.

That said, his bat must be in the lineup right now. I think his offense gets more hate than warranted because he has a tendency to have some REALLY bad ABs, whereas Belso, who doesn't seem to get as much hate, will usually battle but ultimately not produce.

The numbers say Jobert is one of your best SEC bats. He's gotta play.
