what?? No he hasn’t

McCarthy has arguably played 1 defense that was better than any defense we’ve faced. The rest of his schedule has been an absolute joke.

JD has played tougher opponents, on average, than either of those quarterbacks.

Arguably? No they have a defense rank 14 spots higher. So there’s no arguably about it. Then he has Ohio State and Penn State left. Two better teams in Alabama and Texas A&M and better than Georgia for that matter.

And Pennix played and beat, Oregon which is ranked 20 in total defense and Arizona st at 34. Daniels is hanging on to FSU with a loss and a 64 QBR.
On top of that pennix will get many more opportunities against defenses that are really good, including Utah. Watch some of these games for yourself. Stop living in the past that the SEC is the best football conference. It is not at least not this year.

You can’t be serious.

vs. Boise State (NR)
vs. Tulsa (NR)
@ Michigan State (NR)
vs. Cal (NR)
@ Arizona (NR)
vs. Oregon (9)
vs. Arizona State (NR)

@ FSU (4)
vs. Grambling State (FCS)
@ Mississippi State (NR)
vs. Arkansas (NR)
@ Ole Miss (13)
@ Mizzou (20)
vs. Auburn (NR)
vs. Army (NR)

There is no world in which Washington has played a more difficult schedule than LSU to this point. Seriously, lay off the crack.

McCarthy has played a better defense already with more difficult games left.

vs. UNLV (NR)
vs. Bowling Green (NR)

@ Indiana (NR)
vs. Michigan State (NR)

Another murderer’s row. Who are these great defenses Michigan has played? Rutgers?

there were 14 incompletions one of which went to FSU. Not all of those were dropped balls.

SECStatCat charted 4 drops and 2 WR errors, FWIW.

How many losses did last season's winner have?

NCAA Total Defense.

I’m aware of the numbers. The point is that not all schedules are created equally.

University of Ohio is ranked #5 in total defense. Do you think they’re the 5th best defense in college football?

That’s rich coming from someone who said Washington had played a tougher schedule than LSU to date.

Slow your roll hater. You would be less hard to understand if you actually used truths and facts.

Real Stats

quote:

McCarthy has played a better defense already

Woah you got us on that one. McC faced a 12th ranked D While JD has faced a 21.

Lets do Pennix now since you also brought him up... His best D faced is ranked 16 while JD's best faced is 21st. WOW, huge difference.

But since you are on the subject of defenses, Why don't you take the whole schedule into account? Take the top 7 defenses. JD has faced defenses averaging 56th place while Pennix has faced defenses with an average rank of 79.4 and McC has faced an average of 61.75

and just to put this info clearer perspective, of JD's opponents, Army is lowest ranked at 77th. Pennix has faced 5 of his 7 opponents were worse than that, and McC has faced 2 that were worse than that.

So ya, you don't know shite.

quote:

Pennix has played a harder schedule

By what measure? By defenses faced? Already showed that's a lie. By opponents record? Well, lets look at that. LSU has played opponents with a total record of 34-24 compared to Pennixs' opponents at 22-27. Additionally Pennix has faced 1 ranked team (current #8) while JD has faced 3 ranked teams (current #4,#12, #16). McC has faced opponents with a total record of 29-29 with no ranked opponents.

So ya, once again you look like a retard.

So, yes, JD has better stats and against better opponents than eith of the two clowns you mentioned.

The only thing the other 2 QBs can claim is better team records than LSU. That has to be the dumbest argument ever. Comparing team accomplishments (Record) in determining an individual players award (Heisman)

IT REALLY IS THAT SIMPLE. WHY IS IT SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND?

Statistically speaking maybe. But of course Rutgers SoS is ranked 69 so ya, I would hope their D is good statistically.
