People don't live forever. He died a couple of decades ago.
His tiger bait chant was legendary.

He would stand on he railroad tracks every Thursday before a game and chant Tiger Bait across the practice field. Great memories. Since passed. Think he was a mailman

He passed away around 1992/93 - he was a carrier for the Morning Advocate and also had another job (idk).

In the late 1970s and early 1980s, his 'TigerBait' chant standing on the PMAC concourses, filled the entire arena..sounded like he was on the PA system..Ole Red could throw his voice like nobody I've ever heard.

Red had a seat in the North End Zone, over in what is now the student section...he'd show up when the stadium opened and would yell "Tiger Bait"....you could hear him anywhere in the stadium...
people like him made the reputation of Tiger Stadium!!!!

Are you a fool? read the above posts dip. Big red was probably the premier LSU fan and filled the stadium with Tiger bait before it was Neck time.
