Looking back at Recent Ole Miss coaching hires:

Tommy Tuberville beat us in year 2
David Cutcliffe beat us in year 1
Ed O was 0 for 3 and a rare exception
Freeze beat us in year 2 and damn near beat us in year 1.

I think Lane gets us in year 2

He’ll go 0-2 vs LSU before bolting for another gig

He will be fired for sexual harassment first.

Why’d you skip the tub of lard Ole Miss has let troll the sidelines the past few seasons?

Make no mistake. I don’t believe you’re one of us.

Wrong question.

When is Lane going to be beat Saban is the real question.

So you want me to hope I'm right by saying a date. I'll say never think we will lose. Hope he never gets his win against us.

He's too focused on cheerleaders and stuff like that.

He and Rich Rod might toss in a scare with Plumlee, that kid is freaking fast. I have to give him that. Not the best passer but he has some wheels.

Problem with Kiffin is he gets distracted, and I'm ok with that. His defenses have been pretty mediocre. For example, after he was canned at USC, O took the exact same players and turned their defense around.

Kiffin's teams, even with talent, have generally had porous defenses. It happened at Tennessee, happened at USC, even with FIU. He generally tries to score a lot and often, a la Oregon.

Not saying he'll stink it up but if his prior history is any indication, this is what you can expect. Plumlee is a weapon though, I have to give that kid credit. He's freaking fast. He'll be a nuisance.

People here will scoff, but Ole Miss and Ms State will both be tougher outs within the next two years. I don’t know when/if he gets us before he either gets fired or catapults to a bigger gig, but I damn sure don’t take them lightly. If he lands Evans and somehow by the grace of God keeps his nose clean and academically eligible, he and Plumlee would be fricking dynamite.

When Tulane joins the ACC invests 250 million in football, Hires Orgeron, LSU moves to the AAC and Kiffin somehow stays at Ole Miss.
