What Would You Rather?

LSU facilities are starting to slip down in the bottom of the SEC in baseball and are right at the bottom in basketball. Would you rather renovations to the PMAC or Alex Box first? What would you do to Alex Box if you were Scott Woodward? Do you want a new arena or just renovate where it is at?

Biggest mistake was putting bleachers down the field and keeping the f’ing bullpen where it is.

You’ll be happy to know the bullpens will be behind the outfield fence and the fence will be brought in next season.....

Not sure how true but heard on one of the local shows that they didn’t realize until after that the plans for the Box didn’t include bullpens. This true?

Box for sure. Listening to squeaky shoes and watching a ball bounce back and forth up a court repetitively reminds me of ping pong. And basketball has way too many whistles especially at the end of games. If basketball got rid of the bonus and the charge and blocking fouls then I'd watch it. Baseball also has the advantage of being outside in the spring.
Who really notices a great basketball facility on TV? All the stands look pretty much the same regardless. The baseball facility has a direct impact on how much the fans enjoy themselves.

I have been to most of the sec baseball facilities. With Tennessee, Ole Miss, and A&M fixing to renovate we will be pushed back further. We are top 7 right now

There’s a difference between stadium and facilities for players. The Box is trash but the facilities for players are top of the food chain.

Build a new basketball only arena and rennovate the PMAC for other sports. Take care of what houses several important sports before rennovating a recently-built Alex Box.
