What would you like to see the staff address in the bye week

A lot of teams utilize the bye week to do 2 things primarily
1. Focus on fundamentals
2. Self scout your tendencies
Some things I'd like to see addressed in addition to that
1. Red zone offense - they need to figure out some plays to dial up in the red zone to get TDs on the board, not just for Bama but for the remainder of the season
2. Film study - no reason to run the team into the ground. We should be watching a lot of film on both sides of the ball
3. Figure out ways to generate some sort of pass rush

A way to disrupt tua early and often

this, this, and this
We can move the ball pretty well up until this point. Then we revert to corner routes and ground-and-pound.

Agreed, but don't you think this is somewhat by design? Take the safe plays and settle for a field goal?

Get Devin White reinstated.

A way to sabotage the Bama bus, or a way to figure out how to have 13 players on the field.

So the same offense as always?
We completely take the ball out of Burrow's hands with this. Not trusting him in the middle of the field.
If "playing for the fg" is their philosophy, then God help us.

Misdirection, RPO, wildcat, trick/gimmick plays (rushes) for redzone.
We need to get inventive on the ground in the redzone.
It is both our single biggest issue and the most significant low-hanging fruit on offense.
Resolve ourselves to the fact that the OL isn't going to take any magical huge leaps forward for the remainder of the year, and adjust to it.
NOTE: no pulling plays, we're too slow on the OL. We get undercut and we get beat to the point-of-attack by defenders. Hence, you must use deceit to make up for that.

Tighten up the back end because you know they’re taking shots at Battle
Get Deculus ready.
Add some presnap jet motion to a few plays.
Coach the LBs on fundamentals like it’s August
Obviously there will be a lot of recruiting this week, so the number one thing for the team is get healthy.

Put in a play where a walk-on comes in for the sole purpose of fighting with Tua and getting him to retaliate.
Once Tua is DQ'd, offer to let him finish the game so long as DW can also play the whole game.
CBS will do whatever they need to in short order to get the suspension overturned if that's what they have to do to ensure Tua plays.

YEP
My only other real gripe is the use of personnel. I really don't think they are utilizing personnel groupings to their maximum potential.
Of course they see the players everyday in practice, but I can't figure out why the obvious play makers are not getting more touches on spread formations. I'd love to see more attempts at getting the ball to Jamarr Chase (think he had a drop against State, but otherwise has been really good when given the opportunity) and CEH in space on quick passes and screens. I feel like they haven't gone back to the quick screen game as much since that flag against Auburn.
Gotta get Bama's LBs covering quick passes sideline to sideline to put pressure on them and the DBs to respect the horizontal game, then hit them vertically or up the middle.

Out of our current group of receivers, who would be our best option in the red zone? Someone we could trust in the middle of the field, to get up and get the ball?

IMO, Anderson is the easy answer here.

I don't think we did that in past. Our offense just sucked.
I do think that is happening now. I believe our offensive personnel is extremely average. No stars. Not a single player that will likely be honorable mention All-SEC.

Recruiting
Review fundamentals
Start game planning late in week
No hitting, just conditioning
Shadow staff should be self scouting on a weekly basis. They also should have a rough game plan on how to attack and defend Bama ready now.

Sullivan or Anderson for a 50/50 ball in the air, but would love to see a play-action to the Moreau over the LBs with the intent to get the ball down quick and run over a safety on the way into the end-zone.
Of course the throw to Anderson in the end-zone against State was the worst I've seen from Burrow this year, so that's another thing they can clean up this week... Burrows touch on tall passes/fades over the defenders into the end zone with your giant WRs and big TEs.

No. well, it's situational so sometimes it is. us fans can see our goal line offense is not dependable so you can book it the coaching staff knows it. we have a so-so OL and no all star power back nor TE so that takes away a lot of options. look what happened on our second red zone visit Saturday; we just can't afford turnovers down there (not to mention we had two of them in one game).
