It’s not what we pictured, but just imagine this for a second. LSU fans everywhere didn’t get round two with UT, Houston LSU fans didn’t get their chance to see LSU destroy rice at NRG. We’d kill two birds with one stone by getting UT in Houston. Puts us over .500. Yeah I know we’re better than that but you gotta work with what you got at this point. Imagine the melt by Aggie fans if a 3-4 unranked LSU team knocks off their 8-1 possibly top 5 team by that point. We aren’t good enough to dominate but we’ll always be good enough to upset someone.

Nothing that happens the reminder of this season will make me happy or unhappy going into 2021.
What will make me happy or unhappy is a failure to address coaching deficiencies in the offseason. A repeat of this year one O is done.

It's really simple for me. I want to see competent coaching with the talent that we have. If we lose a couple of games to good teams but we played hard and well, I can accept that. It's the team not even remotely prepared to win a football game against the bottom dwellers of the conference that makes my blood boil.

Finish up 5-5, go to a crap bowl game and hope half the team doesn’t opt out of playing in it. Hopefully win and finish strong in recruiting. Bring in a new defensive coordinator. Limited offseason attrition.

Not sucking then quit. If they just execute their responsibilities and keep fighting, I would be happy regardless of record for remaining schedule because I know the reinforcements are coming.
