I am counting on Bama coming out and being overwhelmed by the fact they are not more talented than their opponent and will have to actually find a way to win that doesn't involve the tailback dive.

This makes no sense IMO. LSU is ranked above them. Therefore, LSU runs the same chance of being overwhelmed by the idea they are not the most talented team by a longshot.

Punch them in the mouth on their first offensive series, this will put the fear of GOD in them. Then we run the ball, mixing with passes to keep them off balance. Once we get to 30, send in the second and third string.

Establish the run on offense and hold Trent under 100 yards on defense and we will win by 14+. There wont be any demoralizing though

If we can contain Richardson the way we contained LaMichael James, and get up 10 or so.

We should know pretty early if they can run on us. Our depth on defense is a HUGE advantage, there shouldn't be any dropoff later in the game. If they HAVE to pass to keep up, I think they'll start to crack a bit.

They are not going to quit. Period.

We can beat them. We cannot make them quit.

All we need to do is win - Period.

It would ruin their season.

bullshite. They aren't gods.

This game may come down to a battle of QBs and field position. Each defense may be able to stop the other's running game. If so, we have the advantage. I would take my chances with Lee throwing to Randle etc against their D vs them against ours. I would take the added dimension of JJ coming in and running past their pressure vs McCarron's mobility. This might give us the chance to separate a bit in the 2nd half.

If we do get a bit of a lead, and Wing keeps winning the punting battles and pins them deep, I can see them start to crack and start forcing things. That's when a getting a pick, or hitting Shepard on a screen against the blitz, or Randle on play-action against a stacked line, would be an absolute killer.

LSU can take their players' mothers out for a nice seafood dinner and never call them again.

Ummm.... We didn't play La Tech or Southern Miss in '08. We did have to come back to beat Troy. We had 5 loses, all 5 coming at the hands of SEC opponents.

Right now they think they are invincible and cannot be beaten. What would have to take place DURING the game for them to start quitting? Vice versa what would Bama have to do to make us doubt our own abilities?

hit the QB. and, then hit him some more. and finish it off by hitting him a little bit more. he's a first year starter who hasn't been beaten up yet. beat him up.
