stay about the same or improve? Obviously a loss would go without saying be worse although I am not sure that is even possible.

Would arguably make it better in here.

People are wanting a complete AD/HC regime change. Beating UF on the road stalls that.

ETA:

I will never root against the team. So I'm not included in that.

The mood around here will be worse.

The sunshine pumpers will be back in full force with some tangible evidence that maybe Orgeron isn't a complete dumpster fire.

And the O/Alleva bashers will feel panicked that maybe O will end up winning enough games to get more time.

I know we need to clean house, but after last year's Florida debacle I wanna beat their arse. We can be happy for a week before Auburn beats us.

I would like to know how a piss poor talent team beat Florida.

Because the issue is talent, right?

I agree. The losses will probably take care of themselves without actively rooting for them.

I am sorry, if we accept a coach that loses to Troy when he inherited a incredibly good program, then get read for mediocrity. Losing to Troy is unacceptable for LSU football. The way he stood on the sideline befuddled was all I needed to see. I mean he was standing looking at what happened with his head set mike in the air dazed and confused. He looked like a me trying to solve a calculus problem, completely lost having no chance.

Not much. Wouldn't it prove how easily they should have beat the hell out of Troy if they turn around in one week and beat Florida?

Depends on how we win. If it's an ugly win and we are doing the same things on offense I don't see any reason to get excited but if we see Canada's true brand if offense coupled with a win I can get fired up about it.

The only thing that will change the mood in here is maybe finishing 8-4. Every game from this point forward will be heavily scrutinized and even if LSU wins game, the MSU and Troy debacles are going to hang over everyone until the year is done and O has proven he can lead this team to victories over real SEC opponents.

I'd say, even if that were to happen, O would have to improve NEXT year for there be a general feeling of relief......we'd have to go 9-3 or better.

It's going to be rocky from here on out. O put himself on a 14 month timeline with the MSU and Troy losses.

I hope LSU runs over everyone else they play, but realistically that is very very unlikely. A win over Florida would make me extremely happy though. Just for the BS they pulled last year, handing out the CWS rings and making LSU their homecoming.

Without a doubt. They're just waiting for the all-clear.

A win ramps up the fighting, no doubt. Too much getting along right now. The folks that want to believe this could work have no argument right now. None.
