This. Bragging rights stuff. Bigger isn't always better when it comes to stadiums and arenas.

To have more empty seats on national TV.

Simply put, if you're looking for an atmosphere that would rival the 79 USC game or 97 Florida game it ain't gonna happen. Tiger Stadium is and never will be the same as it once was IMO.
Well, Bama in 2012 was like that.

There was a demand for club/suite seating? Are you that idiotic or are you trying to be a smartass?

I wasn't there for those games, but there's no way that Bama 2012 was far away a worse environment than those.

since huey long, lsu became a BUSINESS DESTINATION!
probably 75% of tickets are business write-offs.

new choices: get a bigger tv, or inherit a big business that needs the writeoffs. or, go out and make a ton of money and quit your belly aching.

Negatiger alert.

It will be filled for Bama. That might be it, but most fans will come up with some lame excuse to not come to the game. Most stadiums are not at capacity anymore anyway. It's all projected $ amounts.

Only the 4th quarter was like that. And the top part of the student section was still not full. We had a thread about this a few weeks ago and I learned that it's pretty much impossible to get a student guest ticket. They need to fix that.

Are you being sarcastic? The suites and club seats sold out the fastest. LSU polled potential owners and had the shite sold in less than a month. If they put another 30 suites in the NEZ they'd sell them too.

Not enough first half seats.

Speaking of, seems like LSU is really missing by not selling 2nd half tickets.

Leaving a lot of money on the table, IMHO.

Frick all the Cheesers and everybody in the LSUAD that's responsible for the putrid degradation of the LSU game day experience and that includes everything that happens before, during and after the game. Many incompetent and negligent heads need to roll.

Having one of the largest stadiums in the SEC is a big selling point to recruits.

Not if the stadium isn't full or the fans leave in the 3rd quarter.

Should be all suites. That way the tv can't tell if anybody is in there. With piped in music, they could pipe in the sounds of the cheering, previously recorded for the Fla game. Everyone would be anticipating the roar of the crowd when the USC score was announced. That should shut Verne up.
