What was the most positive/encouraging thing you noticed from last nights matchup?

A break from the negativity for a sec here rant. I do think we got a decent pass rush, in sacks and lost yardage plays, and we seem to have solid special team kicking. As a side note, been to a lot of UCLA games and that’s the most in numbers and spirited I have seen their fan base. LSU will always get everyone’s best shot. Time to go to work.

The fact that Boutte is still dominant even when the defense knows the QB is only interested in throwing his way.

Is this a post from last season after week 1?

Difficult to tell.

That we will hopefully have a new coach sooner than later.

The positives are the same as last year. That's frightening. The team is still bad. O's arse is grass and Woodward is a lawnmower

This. And I would add that generally, Stingley and Ricks appear to be able to shut down the opponent’s outside receivers. Unfortunately, the opponent doesn’t need to throw their way when they can run the ball at will and throw crossing routes to the TE all day.

That I don't care at all when we suck.

Many reasons....2019 GOAT season no one will top, BLM BS, now the COVID BS, the obvious lack of any ability to scheme by our coaches, the lack of halftime adjustments (again)...

Oh well. I'm just happy to have electricity this weekend.

The fact that a few more performances like that will make this Orgerons final season at LSU and we can go get a competent coach.

- Trey Palmer looked good
- Maason (and BTJ and Bech in lesser roles) look as advertised

That’s about it

That ceo was exposed. The beginning of a rebuilding program starts with giving O his walking papers

Trey Palmer looked great with the ball in his hands. He just doesn't have the ability to get separation or make contested catches that you want from a traditional receiver. Maybe he needs to be a slot guy/ down field threat instead of an X/Y receiver.

Except for the drops (both on Max and the WRs), the WR position looks good.

The guy in the "sissy blue shirt" didn't come out of the stands.

Orgeron would have probably got his arse kicked if he had.
