I had to work last year.

-Where to park?
-When to show up for autos?
-Should I realistically expect to get autos from the Offense & Defense or just one squad.
- Are there many lines (by position) or one long table lie they set up at the Spring Game.

TIA!

(& STFU for all tha Hataz!)

Park anywhere on campus.

Lines will start forming around noon even though the doors don't open til 3pm. Lines build up fast so if you want to assure yourself a particular player or position get there early.

Realistically expect to get to 1 or 2 positions tables. While you may get within 20 people in the RB or QB line, once you're done the lines in other skill positions will be a mile long.

There's a table for every position. Qb's, RB's, WR's, oline, ect.

Thanks a bunch.

I really want a JJ auto, But I'm thinking about hitting up D-line and the secondary.

Are there significantly fewer peeps at the PMAC for defensive autos?

I'm planning to take my almost three year old. Where is the shortest lines? If I get there near 3 is it worth it? I'd be fine to meet just one set of players.

Is it mostly kids or autograph seeking adults wearing jerseys?

I've been the past 4 years and I consider it a great time despite the long lines and heat. It depends who you're looking for, last year I went to the PMAC to get PP7's auto and there weren't too many people there overall.

You can bet the bank there will be atleast a 500 of these a-hole there. 4 Footballs in one arm and two helments in the other. For what? So he can turn around and sell it on EBAY for about a cool Grand.

fricking Molesters, this is why I don't bring my son to events like this. They runin it for young people.

I do it because LSU football is the first common bond my 4 year old son and I have and I know he will appreciate the players behind the signatures as he gets older, like his dad did when he was introduced to Allen Stansberry as a young Tiger fan.
And I'm not one of those adults that carries bag loads of stuff either. Every year, 1 football, and it goes on the shelf when I get home.
Reason I fly solo is because my son isn't a big fan of waiting in lines. Also apparently waiting in line makes him have to piss every 10 minutes.

What about people like me? I bring my helmet, football, and mini helmets to get signed for my own collection.

In the past two years of going, I have an authentic LSU helmet with PP7, Rueben Randle, Brandon LaFell, Drake Nevis, Kelvin Shep, Ryan Baker, etc...

I am actually out of room on it! lol

Kicker/Punter lines are by far the shortest. No waiting. It might even be worth it to talk to the Australian punter.

Lots of both.

I plan on going but just to take some pictures.

The way LSU coordinates these things, one can't expect but a few signatures at best. IMO, they should fire everyone in charge of these events and hire all new people who have half a brain at least.

I don't have a signature of a single player past or present and I really don't want to start now. Is there anything there other than getting signatures that might interest a tiger fan... talks, lectures, displays... anything?

I was able to get signatures of the entire defense and Chief Chavis.

I am happy to report that I managed NOT to Molest anyone, or "runin it" for any young people.

Fun signatures for my own collection + not molesting anyone = Good Fan Day!

Sounds better than paying $300+ for the same Auto after they turn pro. My daughter had a blast at fan day but I held nothing against those grown men that were there. No one fights over autos and there isn't enough people there to think kids are going to get cheated out of anything. Besides, if grown men don't show up to get autos, fan day would only need to take about 30 minutes to cover the amount of kids that actually show up.
