Of issues this team has Hilton being available is almost last on the list in order of impact.

Hilton is our only true deep threat and will be a game changer once he’s back. However, Nuss will have to throw a better deep ball than he has. Throwing Hilton out of bounds or overthrowing by 10 yards won’t cut it. .

Hilton is always hurt, but when healthy, he at least gives you the threat of the deep ball. Something were lacking at the moment.

He’s a track guy playing football. Sampson needs to step up. Hilton will be a few more weeks. Hopefully, back for Ole Miss.

He hasn’t been able to shake injuries his entire career.

He has a skill that we need on the field and that no one else but maybe Sampson has, But Sampson can’t even be trusted to line up right at the moment. He had a nice shot to make a move last weekend and didn’t do shite but get a nice play called back and kill a drive.

Zavion is just as fast as Hilton.

He and Anderson are fast, but they are also both short and small. Anderson is only 5-8 and Thomas is 5-10. Hilton is 6’ 190, making him a more ideal target in that role.

To me. He is a poor mans Jarvis Landry. We need him on the field

Other than both being around 6' tall, they aren't similar at all.

You posted a video of 13 catches for 225 yards in a year and you're telling us he's a stud

Its almost like the common Rantard doesnt understand the combined advantage of being very fast and very long/tall. Hilton was a state champion high jumper and 400m guy in 5A and has a much different catch radius than guys like Thomas or AA. He can "take the top off a defense" in a way no one else on this roster can because of those attributes.

Actually if you look at the slow motion replay the ole miss defender pushed his right hand into his left hand and the ball hit his closed hands. No way to make a catch. Was pass interference but no way to see in live time.

Hilton being out has hurt us way worse than I thought.

Has it though? We know his potential but he has never contributed anything so how do we know?

Chris Hilton sure does get a lot of love and hype from our fans on here for someone who has never done jack shite and who also dropped the game-winning TD against Ole Miss (Which would have given us an 11-2 record instead of a 10-3 record for 2023).
