Jay Johnson has reportedly heard whispers of a Friday start for BR regional but not confirmed.
Personally, I don't care as much what day but rather time.
Going to be mid 90's so I would prefer night game.
You would think ESPN would want Skenes in prime time.

Night games that aren't night games because they were delayed by weather.
It sucks that this team hasn't had the true postseason Box experience yet because the crowds haven't been full capacity.

You want to play on Day 1 in Omaha so you get an extra day of rest over the team from the other side of the bracket. I would think heat/muscle injuries would be lower at night, too.

I wouldnt be shocked if they put us on during the day, while lsu is a nice tv draw, im not sure an lsu kentucky matchup is as intriguing as several of the other matchups

What matchups are more intriguing? Wake vs Bama maybe just because it’s Wake? Texas vs A&M/Stanford?
I think LSU vs Kentucky would be top 2, if not the most intriguing considering it’s LSU baseball and the Skenes/Crews hype.

Easily wake vs bama for several reasons, stanford vs texas is also more intriguing, virginia/duke as well, and south carolina/florida

Most casual viewers aren’t aware of Wake’s dominance this year. I suspect two “name” programs like Texas-Stanford will get top billing. The two all-SEC and the all-ACC matchup will be up there too.
The Regionals with mid-majors (ORU, ISU, USM) will suffer/be relegated to less-desirable times/ networks.
