The power was there, but he was hurt for part of the year and probably came back before he was 100%.

Good point.. I had forgotten he missed a few weeks early one.

One of these is not like the other.

Yea Duplantis will have to drop a lot to come back, as opposed to the others.

It won't be a bad thing if Duplantis, Watson and Hess have to come back and earn it!

Selfishly I'd love for Duplantis to come back, but he should take any money he gets now in this draft if it's anything $125k or greater

From the MLB draft page, what the hell is "LHS" for a position??? A "Left-Handed Stealer"??

To me he was not the same player after he suffered his injury. He had his moments, but imo, never returned to form.

He was still second on the team in slugging behind Cabrera.

This is about where it started last year. KRob went in the 4th. Signed for 150k from a 450k slot IIRC.

Yeah, but no one is nearly as constrained as the Cardinals were last year.

Can you tell the class why they were constrained project?

Hess regressed big time and Watson had a slight regression. Thought they'd be gone by now but not exactly surprised.

I think one of the 2 return along with Duplantis tbh

Freeman went in the 4th too. A little later though. To the Nationals. Not sure on slot.

Maybe there were a bunch of scouts at the game where Watson tried to steal first base from second base....??

I've heard so many different stories, I don't know what to believe.

I think Dup should get any money he can. He'll get pennies next year.

Hess and Watson could use another year. I can see Hess staying. Whether or not Watson stays depends on who you believe.

Watson had probably 4 or 5 absolute WTF moments.

Like I said the other day, he was the most prone on the team to shoving his head up his arse.

And on this year's team, that was quite an accomplishment.
