The zoo is fantastic and there’s every chance the weather will be glorious.

NASA is great if you have kids 12 and under.

Houston museum district is world class: Menil collection, museum of fine arts, museum of natural history, all amazing.

Food scene in my opinion is second only to New York in the country. Sure, get Tex Mex once, but international food is so good here and you can’t get it elsewhere.

Pappas bros steakhouse is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to.

Houston has a ton to offer, but for the best things, you need to live here and put the work in to find them. I can understand how to outsiders it just seems like a big pile of concrete.

Zero things. Besides ‘warmer than Michigan’, there’s zero reason for us to visit Houston or Atlanta.

Fishing in Galveston, water park at schlitterbaun, NASA Mission Control, that’s about it. Only leisure reason I ever go to Houston is for concerts because a lot of tours that skip Louisiana and Biloxi stop there.

Zoo lights are a night attraction depending on how long you are in town. Depending on the age Alley Theatre will still be doing A Christmas Carol and the production is excellent. Children of all ages would enjoy the Museum of Natural Science. If they are super young, Children’s Museum.
