What Joe Brady brought to LSU is not some new revolutionary magic offense. Lot's of teams use the same types of schemes that Joe Brady brought to LSU. The difference between LSU and everybody else this year was JOE BURROW. Joe Burrow had graduated and had 1 class. He studied film all day and game planned more than any QB in America. First of all, LSU still has an Offensive Coordinator that helped install this offense. LSU can find other coaches that understand these exact same concepts. LSU can find another passing game coordinator. What LSU will have difficulty ever replacing is Joe Burrow. Period !

Burrow needed Brady just as much as Brady needed Burrow.

It was the perfect storm and the perfect combo.

I agree but also disagree.

I believe Burrow with another co coordinator running that style would have been great also

Brady turned Burrow into a millionaire and Burrow just turned Brady into one!

and the year before that Brady needed Drew Brees just as much as Dre..... oh that’s right... Drew and the Saints were already an elite offense in the NFL for well over a decade before Brady showed up.

Point being, Brady was smart for cashing in today lol

Man it’s pretty dumb to minimize what Brady did for LSU this year.

If it was so simple, why did it take this long for us to finally see it.

Last season the scheme was different. Only this year was Joe Brady involved running an RPO / Spread offense. That is the difference.

He had to take classes at some point. He earned a master's degree at LSU.

The difference was putting Burrow back in an offense that he was comfortable with. That and having the time with excellent receivers to develop chemistry and timing. Layer on to that was a healthy O line that gelled into an award winning group.

Who minimized anything Brady did this year? I’m not taking anything away from Brady. However, Brady also had the most decorated player in college football history playing QB for him. Brady’s stock can never be higher than it is right now. Right now is the time for him to leave because with Joe Burrow leaving the only direction he can go from here is down. Put it this way, had Myles Brennan started this year he would not have put up anywhere close to the numbers Joe Burrow put up. Joe Burrow just set thw NCAA record for TD’s and points scored in a season, #2 in all time completion percentage, #3 in all time yardage and won the Heisman trophy by the largest margin in the history of the trophy. Not taking anything from Brady. Only acknowledging the elephant in the room.

An nfl offense playing in college why don’t you just say that!

Not discounting what Brady did at all but the last few games of last year you could see the offense transitioning.

Brady was to Burrow what Scorsese is to De Niro.

Stop lying to yourself. Losing Brady hurts. The fact that Burrow is so irreplaceable is precisely why. Burrow had a decent year in 2018. Add Brady to the mix and he is legendary not just elite.

Nobody runs the offense we ran this season. Sorry but you’re wrong on that score.

Joe Brady had a huge impact on our WR performance this year. Far fewer drops, which meant sustained drives and the caught everything Joe Burrow put up. Not impossible to replace, but he brought a very fresh perspective that helped the entire offense.
