What record puts O on the hot seat for 2020?

With the talent coming back and schedule I am putting 10-2 as the floor, however how many losses him on the hot seat entering 2020?

Anything less than a 10-2 regular season should put him in seriously hot water. Realistically he can probably go 8-4 and be more than fine.

Let's be honest, even at 7-5 we'd have the same cast of characters here telling us how this is perfectly fine and why...and it would work with most fans.
6-6 and then that would no longer fly.
Thankfully, this team is not going 6-6, but I honestly think that's what it would take to get to Hot Seat for this guy given his local ties.

This is the best chance O will ever have to go 11-1 and give us a real shot at the CFP.
If we end up 10-2 his defenders will still try to make excuses about how good of a season it was, but deep down they will know that is as good as it will ever get under him. 2020 will be a dumpster fire.
At 9-3 with this loaded and veteran roster, a dream set up of a schedule, and a stud DC he inherited and a 5th year senior QB with a year as the starter he inherited from Urban Meyer and not a single reasonable person should even pretend that he will ever win anything in Baton Rouge and we should move on before the wheels totally fall off.
If we end up 10-2 his defenders will still try to make excuses about how good of a season it was, but deep down they will know that is as good as it will ever get under him. 2020 will be a dumpster fire.

Man, I wasn't happy when Alleva hired O, but fans like you are the worst.
O has signed 3 recruiting classes, he deserves a lot of credit for that loaded and veteran roster
LSU plays a top 10 team on the road OOC and will play plenty of ranked teams in conference. The schedule is more manageable than some years, but you make it sound like it's full of cupcakes.

This is his 3rd year recruiting and he was involved heavily in the 2016 class.
