That play White made from his knees impressed/surprised me. I had always thought him a bit overrated but that was athletic as hell when he made that tackle so I'm on board now.
I agree with you I believed the same of him but he is a player. Also though Duke Riley made some nice plays, Quinn is very comfortable with the college game and Jennings started to get it after a tough first half.
On the other side I thought Danielle Hunter lost contain and is overhyped, Kendall Beckwith is not the end all be all for linebacker as some believe.
Lastly with more game snaps Fournette will adjust the game will slow down for him and it will be on.

Never knew which side of the formation to line up on? Really? Just curious to how you know this?
By watching the game from my seat. It probably wasn't shown on TV if they were showing something else between plays.
He would leave the huddle and run to one side of the formation. Then have to run to the other side before everyone got set.

CamGam touchback after a DoG penalty. I went from being pissed about the penalty to 'holy shite he still got a touchback'
Dude is legit.

I'm not saying this is what happened, but it would be brilliant if it was just part of an elaborate slow-play.
Specifically, on the 2-point conversion I recall that he seemed confused about where to go and started to double-back while in motion. But he clearly knew what he was doing on that play, and that hesitation could well have been part of the con: "ignore the freshman, he doesn't know where he's going"

Collins gets my vote.
Ronald Martin second. He seemed to show up a lot watching the game on the tube.

Had to be Godchaux. I hadn't heard a thing about his since National Recruiting Day.

Collins, he is the most improved player on the team after 1 game.

Diarse looked really strong and polished. I had no idea he was that good.

What player surprised you the most in a good way on the field Saturady?

dural. He looked like a legit #1 threat that could wind up as a first rounder.
