+1 I'm in the 70%. Miles doesn't get enough credit for maintaining the recruiting after NS. Or how he handled Katrina immediately after coming here. QB play has been our and his, achilles.

I know ALOT of hardcore LSU fans not on this site and Cant name a single one that like him anymore and want him at our school...including myself

if a vote were taken, i would predict 80+% would vote for him to remain as our coach. 10% would be ok with him leaving and 10% would assasisinate

I think its a 70-30 split but most like him. This place certainly doesn't represent the typical lsu fan.

Don't know about other's feelings toward MIles, but I truly like the man, even when I scratch my head in wonder at what he does on the field. And as for public speaking, he can talk in pig latin as long as he keeps winning.

This. I'm guessing a majority of the older people in our fanbase, who understand where our program has been and are more rationale, do not post here.

I'm not sure where the "older fan" cut-off is but I probably fall in that group and I can tell you that Les might be mad as a hatter but he's a winning lunatic. I think most of the posters on the rant did not suffer in Tiger Stadium in the late 80s & 90s. I remember and I'm grateful for what we have now.

There are probably quite a few (like myself) who like him but don't think he's a very good coach.

When I said real LSU fan I just mean people who don't like LSU when they win, but can't stand them when they lose.

Majority of posters on here are full of themselves...half are probably not even LSU fans, but are on here to stir up shite and flame...I WOULD NOT JUDGE LSU FAN BASE BY THIS BOARD ALONE...

No kidding. What clown goes around 'polling 200 people' unless they work for a polling company.
On this particular topic,its like any group or organization. Notice how many of the 75,000 + posts 'fans' don't like Miles. Therefore,to some that translates into the 'cool people' so a lot of insecure fans chime in wanting to be loved by them so they agree.
Does Miles have his faults ? Sure he does. But does every fan or every fanbase support every single thing the head coach does ? Did all Saints fans love everything Payton did last year ? Of course not. But the haters here dwell on every negative of Miles failing to acknowledge when another coach does something of equal or similar consequence.
Hard to take them too seriously.

Interesting....someone did a "poll" on here about a week ago on whether Miles should be the coach at LSU. about 200+ responded and about 80% said yes.
