A more physically imposing Reggie Bush is the correct answer here.
We all know Guice has moves. He is shifty, not afraid to hurdle or put a shoulder in, and has INCREDIBLE vision.
He has explosion (read: acceleration/power) the likes of which I haven't witnessed before. The play against Missouri where he cut all the way back to the right side, stopped in front of two defender, and ran around them both is proof of that.
I think that once he is drafted, he'll be everything Bush was supposed to be and more in the NFL. Maybe like a more shifty Brian Westbrook if he can catch out of the backfield on a consistent basis.

He has WAY more power than Sproles. That comparison may be a little in disregard of the skill set Guice holds.

Not sure I can name one, I feel he might be the best back to come out of LSU in a long long time! This kid runs every run with a purpose! Kinda funny after all the hype of LF#7! Guide might be the Heisman Trophy winner!

Idk right now but in a year he'll look like future NFL HOF Derrius Guice.

quote:Lynch is the most similar I've seen; go back and watch that "beast-mode" run against the Saints in the playoffs, and then compare it to any number of Guice's runs. Same type of runs- defense looks like they are trying to catch a greased pig. Can't get a good grasp and wrap up, doesn't trip and stumble on contact, keeps churning.
If you look at Guice and don't see some of the traits that Marshawn Lynch possesses, I suggest you watch some more tape.
I'd say Guice isn't QUITE as big, but has more speed and quickness.
He's a lot thicker and more powerful than guys like Payton, Sanders, etc.
Fournette looks like Earl Campbell.

I watched Sayers play in the Sixties, and just looked at some of his old footage. Sayers and Guice do have the same running style. Good at cutbacks, shifty, hard to get a hand on, good power to break tackles but not going to run over a LB.

Derrius Guice 5'11", 212 lbs. Not exactly squatty.
Gayle Sayers, 6', 200 lbs.
Not a big difference in size.
Watch some Sayers videos. You'll see the similarities in running styles. Same types of moves, cutbacks, reversals of field.

I think Marshawn Lynch runs more violently, but Guice is faster, shiftier, and more elusive.

Reminds me of Steve smith (regardless of position)

He has a very similar style as Sweetness. Runs hard, punishes, and legs never stop.

Me in my prime. He doesn't quite have my agility however.

Pretty much looks like Guice in 2018. You don't compare Guice to others. Others are compared to him!
