He's unique. I guess Marshawn Lynch but he retired.

When he was still in HS I said he'd end up like Lynch.

ETA: Same body type, similar running styles, and similar ability to break tackles. They're both charismatic as well. Guice is obviously much smarter though. Derrius has his head screwed on tight

The way he runs is a lot like Adrian Peterson

Idk about NFL abut he reminds me of pre-injury Chubb.

I think he is a strong runner but not Marshawn Lynch strong.

I also think he is faster.

Lamar Miller from the texans. Same size and speed very similar backs.

Honest question, has any other SEC back had two or more games of 250+ yards in a single season?

eta: Doing my own research...
Derrick Henry... Nope
Herschel Walker... Nope
Nick Chubb... Nope
Bo Jackson... Nope

Googled it. Only two other players that have ever had 250+ twice in a season are Moe Williams from Kentucky and apparently Joe Webb from Tennessee according to an old SEC Rant thread.

His strength is very deceptive. I don't think he's the truck type running back but he keeps his legs moving no matter what. I agree about his speed.

No no no. Sayers was a different animal compared to Guice. I think their running styles are very very different.

Oh my bad. He's a combination of Walter Payton Barry Sanders Adrian Peterson Marshall Faulk and Earl Campbell but he's slightly better than those guys. Did I do it right this time? Lol

ETA: To continue with my Lynch comparison:

Both Derrius and Marshawn have very open hips when they run. They both have low centers of gravity and the ability to start and stop with the best of them. Their ability to break tackles when not running at full or even near full speed is their best qualities.

If you look at Guice and don't see some of the traits that Marshawn Lynch possesses, I suggest you watch some more tape.

He's also a very similar back to Cadillac Williams. A lot of people were comparing his style to his when in HS.
