It’s not even a matter of how good they were. Just the way the offense was organized and executed was something we haven’t seen from an LSU offense in a long time if ever for game one.

Second drive against Georgia Southern. Was so shocked with the first possession, I could not believe that we were playing like we always should have been for years. What a great feeling that was.

During the Texas game in the second half when I was more confident that we would win with out offense rather than relying on our Defense for a stop like in years past.

Auburn game sold me. That was a gut check game. That was tough defense with a dominant defense line.

Easily Florida game. In the past LSU had many games in the past where they lit up bad defenses, but couldn't do jack against good teams. We quickly forget, but this was a legit critique of Coach O teams before this past season, I mean how many points had we scored on Bama, FL, AU lately.
Florida game showed me this offense could score on anyone, wasn't one dimensional, and wouldn't get out-schemed either.

During a closed spring Scrimmage in April when I didn’t see the ball hit the ground for 30 minutes against our first team D.

I doubt this. Coach O wants to be balanced. You are harder to stop when the defense is guessing.
Look at the Saints, even with a HOF QB, they are better when they don't throw the ball 60% plus.
