This was the exact game that came to mind for me as well. A friend and I were at the game and were so excited when LSU took the lead.
In '07 I nearly broke up with my girlfriend (now wife/no pics) after the Arkansas loss.

Correct. People who weren’t around or too young when this game happened just don’t understand. The context of where we were as a program combined with the manner in which we lost can’t be overstated.
One of the great WTF games in CFB history, not just LSU history.

Posted this on similar thread in secr
Ole Miss 1997 - the week after beating UF we lose that game - burned all things LSU that night and swore never to care again - lasted about 6 days.
2012 Yeldon Bama game still really hurts - my oldest daughter's first Bama game - she still says she refuses to accept the outcome of that one.
ETA - sitting in student section a few rows from the top of the stadium watching every second of Shaun Alexander run for 1,000 yards a carry in 4 degree weather is up there also.
Also - all things Tebow.

2008 Bama. Realized that we were not the top dogs in the secw anymore.
Glad to be back on top.

Correct, this was our guys road trip for the year. We thoroughly outplayed Auburn in the second half, I think they only got one first down the whole second half.
We walked out of the stadium stunned, the Auburn fans apologizing to us saying we needed to fire our coach cause they knew they had gotten their arse whipped and had gotten a gift. That Auburn team ended the season 9-1-1 and No. 9 in the polls.

Vandy game many years ago at Vandy when Kinchen caught the ball on Hail Mary pass for apparent TD to win the game.. Refs waived it off w offensive pass interference. My emotions went full circle in a matter of seconds. Ahhhhhhh!!!!!

What a crappy thread. Let's dredge up old, bad memories and, in your underhanded way, praise and glorify Bama. Want me to remind everyone Bama beat us 8 straight times during that time? Does that help??
remind us again of your great LOCK prediction that TUA WILL NOT play against LSU

Tennessee 05 (cost us an undefeated regular season)
Auburn 06 (Refs bruh)
Arkansas 07 (almost cost us a championship)
Alabama 08 (pick 6 Lee)
Alabama 12 (we win probably go on to win NC vs ND)
Alabama 14 (could have ruined their season)
Florida 16 (win and we go to the Sugar)

LSU vs Bama title game. It made us collapse as a program for a handful of years. Our recruiting wasn't as good as it should have been even though 2011 was one of the best years ever (besides shutout)

Besides the obvious ones Clemson in 2012 in the bowl game. Pure coaching loss.

Miami of Ohio, 1986. My second game as a student in Tiger Stadium. I still get sick to my stomach thinking about that one.

2006 Auburn we win that game we get another shot at Florida SEC championship game.

Anytime an opposing team beats the Tigers, I'm bummed but I get over it. If the Tigers get hosed on a bad call that costs them the game, I'm double bummed, but I get over it because bad calls happen. When the game contains a string of one-sided horrible calls that appear to be a pre-scripted loss for LSU, that sticks with me. So 2006 @ Auburn and 2018 @ Texas A&M would be my answer.

Honestly, I'm not hurting anymore over any of the losses. 1/9 was the worst, but we broke the curse in 2019. 2016 Auburn got rid of Les, so I was ecstatic. Troy was bad, but it pointed the program in the right direction.
