How long do you think Cam was in Juco?
Cam played in 2007 and 2008, like was on the field at Florida
He played one year in juco then one at auburn. He was kicked off Florida's team in 2008. He did not play juco because he wasn't getting playing time. That's the point. He didn't transfer after one year. He had no intention of transferring. Him playing juco did not allow him to be a D1 starter any sooner. His situation is in no way comparable to Scott's. Cam was a blue chip recruit waiting his time to start for a top 5 program at the time in college football. Scott was a boderline D1 player who was running the scout team and left after one year because he didn't feel like he'd ever start. Scott left voluntarily, Cam didn't.

I'll lay you down money he never starts for an SEC team

Would you bet on an ACC, PAC12, BIG12, or BIG10 team? Could he start at Mizzou?

this isn't the NFL, teams don't discriminate in college football based solely on height. He lacks plenty of other tools at the position.

Not true.

You contended my fact that newton would have had to sit 3 years at Florida before playing, in which you were wrong,

Cam decided to transfer when tebow said he was coming back. He was never formally kicked out of Florida. So yea, he did go the judo route because he wasn't going to play until 2010, which would have been his 4th year at Florida after...gasp... sitting for 3 years

Something on the fantasy board the other day, you wouldn't name your price.

I don't know if Scott ends up in the SEC. I can't imagine he's any worse than Brandon Harris tho. He'll get a shot at a P5

you said name my terms, I named what the bet was. You didn't respond

if you could combine harris' physical gifts with scott's brain...then you may have something

I did not

Cam had pending felony charges and allegations of academic cheating. It's like the guy who quits before you can fire him. But if that's the story you want to run with, by all means. It's us undeniable, however, as I have already stated, that Cam was a D1 starter no sooner by going JUCO than he would have been otherwise.

He burned his redshirt in 2008 so he didn't save himself eligibility either. He was going to have one season of D1 ball left to play regardless of what he did. That's what I have said. You then proceeded to enter into some bullshite semantics argument

But what does this tell you?

When Brennan & Narcisse signed with LSU I knew there would be a good chance he would transfer, which he did.

He decided to go to one of the top community college football programs in the nation. In his first game last night, he threw for 535 yards and 5 TDs, which tells me he is a pretty good QB, but isn't that common for EMCC? John Franklin III transferred there from Florida St, was pretty good, went to Auburn, didn't earn the starting job and is now playing WR at FAU.

Just from watching the current season of Last Chance U De'Andre Johnson looked really good. And he ended up going to FAU, I don't know if what he did in the past caused him to not get as many offers, but what I am saying is.. I wouldn't read too much into LS game last night.

Why is the opinion out there that Scott does not have the physical gifts? You are not the only one to post this opinion.

I have seen him play many times and he is a superior level athelete. He can make all the throws that require both touch and strength. I guarantee he can out throw Etling in distance and probably out run him. Additionally DE and Lindsey are essentially the same weight and DE is 2" taller. Yet DE is worthy of the chance and LS never even got a look in a yr and a half despite all of his awards and accolades.

Johnson threw for 400 yds 1 time during the entire season last year Scott has already tied him. Success always means something. Only time will tell.
