App defense has quite a few question marks. DB's and Dline have new people and it will take several games for them to mesh. LSU is not the ideal start for them. I'd run until they stopped me.

ASU's defense last year had trouble with dual threat quarterbacks...otherwise they shut everyone else down.
Our front 7 is gonna be nasty...not a lot of depth, but at least 4 nfl draft picks out of those 7.
I will guarentee that ASU will not let the tigers win on the ground....they are gonna make Hatch prove he can pass the ball.

You owe me a coke, my current one is sprayed all over the computer.

Appy state, who gave up over 300 rushing yards to... are you ready for this.... JAMES fricking MADISON is going to shut our rushing attack down. Greatest post EVER!

Granted you did hold Ga Southern to a lean 276 yards.

You guys are unbelievable.

Run against all those future NFL hall of famers? Who do you think we are... James Madison?

Well i will be wearing deodo"rant"...best defense I can think of...

We are getting way ahead of ourselves talking about draft picks....but since it was brought up by one of our more optimistic fans...DJ smith has the best shot of following alumns Dexter Cookley and Dino Hackett into the LB roles of the NFL.

LSU should have no problem scoring and I'm fairly confident we will get ou share in too..

You appy guys are the best. LSU may have the best defensive front 7 in the history of the school and some of the most talented(but unproven) d-backs in the country and you remain optimistic about scoring on LSU? If we didn't do random drug screens at work I would ask for some of what you got.

As I have said several times already, this is the most overhyped rent-a-win in LSU history.

you are correct.

they keep listening to espn without realizing that if espn said it was going to be a blow out then they would effect their ratings.

they want people to tune in for a complelling story.

For everyone in LSU who is saying 250 yards rushing is a lot in a game against a 1-aa team. App ran for 300+ and 400+ yards in multiple games last year against 1-aa teams, so don't think 250 is an accomplishment.

If your QB can run 313 yards and 4 TD's and go 14 for 16 with 182 yards and 3 more TD's then i'll be impressed because thats what Armanti did to a 1-aa opponent. Any less than that from a D-1 tean such as LSU is a letdown and should not be tolerated.

41-21 LSU wins. D.J. Smith will have 20+ tackles in this game with i'll take 2 tfl. He's our best defensive player and will do well to show that in this game. He will be the Armanti Edwards of App's defense. I believe a 41-21 score is respectable and reasonable. Don't be disappointed when LSU is stopped sometimes on offense. Not all the time.

Georgia Southern also had a quarterback who ran a 4.32 I think. He's now a kick and punt returner for the Miami Dolphins. Jayson Foster, he had 1800 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns in 11 games last year and 1,100 yards passing. 1-aa or not thats crazy to do that on a week to week basis.

I would be happy with 41 from LSU. No disrespect intended, but I would be disappointed if our defense gave up 21. As I would be disappointed if we gave up 21 to N. Texas, Troy, or Tulane. Not "end of the world" disappointed, but disappointed nonetheless. There would be some discussions on the rant Sunday morning, let's just say that.

you can all you want, but Michigan had two heisman candidates and the #1 overall draft pick on offense that got shut down.

Shut down? Are you retarded! Michigan had almost 500 yards total offense with about 250 rushing. It was the Michigan defense that lost the game and Michigan's defense was suspect going into the season. LSU's defense is so much better than Michigan. Our front 7 will smoke your . . .

If LSU uses more that 8 different offensive plays in this game, then you app fans need to pat yourselves on the back. Every time i hear this crap, I want to puke.

Do you actually think that you will be seing the same LSU team that will play against Auburn or Georgia? Puhleease! You will see very simplified versions of the offense and defense.

When your team hangs around for a quarter or two, go ahead and start to think that you can win. It makes the crush of a 45 to 10 loss feel that much worse. BTW, 45 is calling the dogs off.

You know...it's funny to see how many bandwagon fans you have when a "big" game comes up like this. Please don't think we all live in a fantasy world...
