We have a top 7 class coming in next year! I expect we make to the sweet sixteen next year and the NCAA Tournement every year for the next five years.

At least three NCAA appearances and one Sweet 16 should be something we can acheive on a consistent basis. Maybe an Elite Eight or Final Four run every ten years or so.

20 wins
+ .500 in the SEC
NCAA more often than NIT

Hopefully LSU will get a road game at Robert Morris in the NIT.

field a team

As a program, I think a postseason tourney every year is the standard I'd love for LSU.
But in reality, you want NCAA > NIT, so I will say 5:0 or 4:1 or 3:2. A consistent contender means a lot to me.
Maybe you have a deep run, maybe you get knocked out in 64. But at least you;re in the top 80 or so every year in basketball.

I'll honestly be surprised if we don't have 20 wins each year

1. Very entertaining ball
2. Maximum effort every game - continuing on the type of effort from this year
3. Individual player development -everyone gets better, no one takes a foot off the pedal
4. Free throw shooting improvement
5. Great recruits every year
6. If 1-5 happen:
PMAC rocks
NIT high seeds
NCAAT low seeds
NCAAT Elite 8
In that order

at least one final four

We should be finishing anywhere from 4th to 6th in the conference. That should put us solidly in the NIT and sometimes in the NCAA.
There is no reason why we cannot be the best of what used to be the SEC West at least once every 2 or 3 years. Florida, Kentucky, and Missouri are the only programs that are clearly ahead of the pack at this point. 4th is up for grabs but the competition for it is stiff. Ole Miss did it this year (taking advantage of a rare weak year for UK).
We have to get the players that can compete consistently against the top of the conference and win a few of those while always beating the worst conference teams and pulling off a few upsets of higher-ranked out of conference opponents.

nothing since clearly our ad doesn't give two fricks about it, frick our selfs on schedule by having 2 less games and we are cheaper than vermont when it comes to our basketball team

NCAA 3 years. Need to be playing post season every year.

The next year NIT. After that NCAA bid. After that win SEC. After that who the hell knows. Recruiting is everything and we have no idea who will be playing five years from now.

that would be disappointing for next season especially if JOB stays

Agree.
This team should be solidly in the NCAA next year if no attrition.
If only JOB gone, I still think NIT is a min expectation.
JOB plus others (looking at you staying straight Hickey), then probably back to .500 and another mediocre season.

How many years id it take Brady to make the tournament?
If JOB comes back we should easily make the tournament next year. With the added big athletes, our guards should be much more effective.

three, but we were under draconian sanctions

Basketball is probably the most important sport for recruiting. With this great class coming in, we should be pretty good for 2 or 3 years. After that depends on recruiting classes.
Hopeful of 5 postseason (NCAA or NIT) births and 2 Sweet 16 births.
