Good Lord, the whole season was iconic. You could name 10 plays if not more

For me too, the first TD vs Bama.

We didn't score a point vs them the year before, and that made it look so easy. Chase was a full-grown @$$ man.

3rd and 17 was the spark that ignited the inferno the 2019 LSU Tigers became, consuming everything in their path.

Honestly, those guys -- Chase, Jets, Thad, CEH, Brady and especially Burrow -- had lit that inferno long before then. If you look back at him that summer, he knew; they all knew.

3rd & 17 is just when they let the whole world know!

For some reason I always think of the last touchdown to CEH right before half against Bama.

Same.

Another is the WIDE open TD to Terrace Marshall on the same end of the field. (Can't find GIF.) I remember seeing that and thinking Bama was broke and we are gonna win the natty.

I will always remember Nessler saying LSU is putting on a show and Nick Saban doesn’t like the show while they show that older Bama fan looking at the camera knowing which way the game was going in the aftermath of that play.

3rd and Longhorn

I was at the game and was just in disbelief that it happened.

That play in the SEC championship where Joe escapes several Georgia defenders on third down and throws it on the run to JJ.

It’s truly incredible what Chase did against ELITE DB’s that season.

I think if Jefferson had scored on that play it'd be way bigger than it ended up.

ESPN's best highlights of 2019 for us are the 3rd and 17 and CEH's breaking the tackles for the TD against Bama; Jefferson completely breaking OK's secondary is in there but the post-season games all got forced highlights.

Im inclined to agree with those two being pretty definitional.

That's when I knew this team was winning it all.

3rd and 17.

That’s the moment I knew.

Actually, I knew at the end of the first half of the Texas game when we drove down the field and scored a TD right before the half. But, 3rd and 17 solidified it. We had what it took to go the whole way.

I always think about the third down and long against Bama where CEH caught the ball and was not being denied the first down in the third quarter. If LSU punts the ball, they may lose control of the game. He put his foot in the ground and drove the defender five yards.

That play is when I knew barring Burrow getting hurt, we were capable of winning it all.

Too many great ones during the season. But this says it all how he won over his team and the fan base.
