Games against "cupcakes" do not count

A big game where LSU played the most flawless on defense, offense, ST, and coaching.

In your opinion, what is the one game that takes the cake?

ETA: it would be cool if we could get some old timers in here who have answers from earlier decades.

This a great question. The 2007 demolition of VT and the 2003 SECCG whipping of UGA immediately come to mind.

That's probably the right answer. The first one that came to mind for me was Arkansas in 2011. If you want to factor in talent vs execution and production, Florida '97 is right there too.

We looked pretty damn flawless against Georgia Southern.

Notre Dame Sugar Bowl 2006.

The day Bama hired Saban.

We kicked their arse.

I always say this but 2011 Oregon wasn’t nearly the beatdown people remember. Two fumbles deep in their own territory by Thomas pretty much gifted 14 points and LSU only won by 13.

LSU was 10-22 passing for 98 yards and had 48 carries for 175 yards, 3.6 yards a carry. LSU was outgained 335-273. Turnovers won it and 2 of them were unforced. Hardly a beatdown.

Oregon 2011. Offense, defense, special teams all did their jobs. Oregon had no clue what happened

Not on offense till later in the game. TM7 has to spark things.

UF, OM, and AU were all more complete games that year.

You may be right. Maybe Petrino being so butt hurt on the sideline triggered the memory of us kicking their arse.

Uga last year should be listed for the quality of the opposition. Va tech is probably still the winner

Auburn 2011 was such a great game to watch. Lsu really poured it on the 2nd half.

More recently UGA 2018 was a great all around game as well
