but even that pales in comparison to 1/9/12... Les Miles could have been fired after that game and nobody would have argued for his job to be saved

So fire the coach who got us to the national championship?

With the only undefeated regular season in history no less. We absolutely demolished everyone but Bama too, and played the toughest schedule maybe in the history of CFB.

On second thought, I'd like to amend my earlier quote...

I've never been embarrassed of LSU...though some of our fans make that ALMOST frickING IMPOSSIBLE.

This just sums up why the fan base is so quick to hate Les.

I'm not old enough to remember, but did Arnsbarger or Cholly Mac ever have any debacles that could compare to these?

I'm not hating on Les, but over the years, I kind of get why he is so hated sometimes and not respected by the natl. media.

Wow, I say that 1/9/12 was embarassing and from that, you derive that I want Miles fired?

Jump to conclusions much?

ETA: Nevermind I'm an idiot. You were responding to somebody else. Carry on.

yeah

it was THAT bad. i don't think most Tiger fans understand how long 1/9/12 will be remembered and how big of a fail it was.

they didn't fire Les but they could have.

It might be remembered here locally. Not so much nationally.

This.2001 Ohio State/Miami games are remembered nationally, not so much Bama whipping us.

Any thread that rantards downgrade JaMarcus Russell's LSU career

Losing to Arkansas at home in 07 (spare me the "we won da ship" bullshite, we back into that title game)

Losing to Dooley only to be saved by the horseshoe Miles has up his arse from time to time.

Nobody cares outside of LSU fans who cant get over it. Well besides bama fans but lets be honest they have nothing else to live for. Again, you can't have it both ways, the 13 wins can't be in spite of miles and the 1 loss be solely his fault. We got our asses kicked in a game that shouldn't have happen. shite happens, move on.
