When he was in Miami he was winless in regulation.

But he lost with Saban's players.

It’s impossible to gauge the quality of OC we had here from 2007 until 2019.

Too much Miles forcing “power” followed by too much Orgeron trying to find the magic that was Burrow/Brady/Ensminger Combo.

And Gary's '07 offense was the gold std until '19.
Mostly Fisher's 2006 O. The "Wiz" didn't have time to install much of the clusterfrick O that gets him fired everywhere he goes.
He tried to dazzle defense with multiple formation subs instead of running multiple plays from 5 or 6, which just confused young LSU QBs and offense.

Anyway, his legacy is LSU’s all time worst offensive coordinator.

His first year as OC he had a 3000 yd passer, a 1000yd rusher, and two 1000yd receivers. I wouldn’t say he was the worst.

He was in Les Miles wedding.

That’s about it.

At one point...he led an offense that was the only team in SEC History to have a 1000 yard back, two 1000 yard receivers, and a 3000 yard QB...so he couldn't have been that bad.

Well, "07 was better than anything Jimbo did while here. And Crowton did it with (watch this):
- As new OC
- New WR coach
- New OL coach
- New QB
- Only returning WR starter was hurt for several games
- Patchwork OL on the right side (Hitt and Carnell)

Gary should get some credit. And it's pretty widely accepted that Les fundamentally changed after '08.

When Perrilloux was booted, it disrupted any continuity between '07 and '08.

Hard to pin that on Crowton.

Decent playbook going by that interim year. Bad OC nonetheless

Someone mentioned being handcuffed by Les Miles...If one watched Cameron's offenses prior to his arrival at LSU, they were full of motions and varied sets. From those motions and varied sets, he ran an imaginative offense. I just get the feeling that if Les Miles didn't have a headset on to dictate the O during his time at LSU, much more would have been accomplished.

Part 4 of the Perfect Storm to send CLM packing. Miles brought that onto himself. We know why but Miles has no one to blame but himself for that hire.

Cam was brought in to find and develop an OOS QB. Miles bet on the wrong guy.

Greg Studrawa doesn’t ever get any credit for being a good offensive coordinator

Studs and Kragthorpe built a Tiger top 5 offense according to the record book back then.

His legacy is being fired mid-season from the Ravens, and the rest of the season, the Ravens offense goes on a tear and wins the Super Bowl.
