There was plenty of trash talking on both sides. You just couldn't hear it all. You have no idea what was said to him to make him react the way he did. Part of the game - definitely part of the head game. Get over it.

Not often but rarely have I seen a player talk trash that much. With our luck with SEC refs I could just see us getting lit up for a penalty against Bama or Florida when we are about to stop an important drive.

Bushleague is bushleague...whether a player is an all american or a scrub.
The atmosphere he is setting as the leader of our defense leads to lack of discipline that could hurt our team at some point.
I see no upside, but plenty of downside to the excessive trash-talking.

He's generally a soft spoken guy. IMO he was just dishing back what was being fed to him by the opposition. Guess who won!

WVU receivers were doing a lot of trash talking themselves. Both sides kept that going all night.

Stated on another thread but I think he needs to seriously chill out. It's embarrassing as an LSU fan and will cost us big at some point if he doesn't stop. I love watching him as a player and know he can play just as well without getting so thuggish. Also, it could cost him some post season honors if he is perceived as a dirty trash-talking prick.

A little worried about all the acclaim going to head. PP7 was never the same cover corner after all the Heisman talk started. TM7 has amazing talent, but all that Ed Reed talk about a soph. wow, pretty heady stuff
